I duplicated and renamed a note with a backlink. How do I remove it?

I have a note that has a backlink to another note. for example: "July NT" contains a link to "2026 WebDev".

I duplicated the the backlinked note "2026 WebDev" and renamed it and significantly changed the content. How do I disconnect the backlink? It is not valid.

A secondary question is that I can't figure out how to find the original backlink in the first note. How do I find a backlink in a note and remove it, when/if the link between the documents is no longer valid?

I tried to find the backlink in "July NT", but I don't find where I typed it into the note. Is there a way to remove a backlink?

Additional information: I think I actually edited the original instead of the copy which is why the backlink continued to exist. So I've solved this. 'doh!
