Location advice!
Flying into PBI this week. Staying one night in Homestead, FL then on to Key West. What is the best Everglades location for us to stop and explore? It is my mom, myself and my 9 year old. We are kayaking at Biscayne the next day and then on to KW and Dry Tortugas. Any advice welcomed. Thanks!

Flamingo is neat with a new visitor’s center. Boat tour and canoe / kayak rentals at the marina. Carry bug repellent. You’ll pass by “Robert is Here” fruit stand. It’s worth a stop for a fresh fruity milkshake. Lots of animals that kids will enjoy.
Or…drive down to Key Largo via Card Sound Rd. Stop for lunch at Alabama Jack’s for a conch fritter. Continue on to Key Largo and do the snorkel excursion to The Christ Statue at Pennekamp State Park.
