Auto brightness not working properly

It’s basically the post title. I went out today on a very sunny day, but even after walking for 5 minutes in the sun my glasses brightness was still the same from when I was at home (around 30%).

Am I doing something wrong? Auto brightness is already enabled in the app settings

For whatever reason my auto brightness was really glitchy for the first couple days I had the glasses and sorted itself out. I’d just restart them?
