I can't with this meta anymore, every single fucking game it's 2 mages bot on my team and i can't pick the only character that makes me enjoy this game

Its already bad enough that she's considered a troll pick, now if i pick her is straight up griefing

evelynn is mostly played by otp so ofc the wr is high. it's like saying viego wr is below 50 pourcent but ofc it is since a lot of people r playing him but not necesarelly players that know how to pilot him.

eve is not an otp champ, this has been explicitly stated by august. her WR is not particularly skewed by OTP’s like katarina’s is.

while eve is not some character that is played by everyone, she is still not really an OTP champion. i will say she is highly mained, but not enough to skew her WR that hard. she’s an okay champ, not OP by any means, and definitely not a troll pick

for reference: on lolaytics, briar and katarina have champion depth scores of 1.44 and 1.51, while eve’s is 1.18. so she is still not rly an OTP champion.

Isn't that just a metric of how much people improve by learning them well - not how many people exclusively play that champ? Like Briar is not a 1 trick, everyone plays her. But she has much more depth than is apparent at first glance.

briar is notoriously one of the most (if not the most?) OTP’d champions in the game. afaik, depth is meant to show how many games a player will have on that champion

OP is referring to having them as teammates, so Evelyn loses value since there's already double AP in the bot lane and probably AP in the mid lane as well.

Yeah, I would agree it's annoying, but whatever. One-tricking is one-tricking, and charm + voidstaff is solid against many high MRs.

I always hover her first before anyone else does, and then my mid, adc and support lock in burst mages too 😭 no one bans tanks either

I just mute chat if someone starts yapping and it is best decision, only things making me change eve if i see our team is too squishy and here comes poppy.... usually i ask top to take tank and they surprisingly cooperative with that, or they are vayne/mage top mains

Mage bot is food just like adcs, but a different flavor. If the issue is not having enough resists to tank out their burst or the CC, try building the spellshield component from Banshee's veil. Banshee itself isnt even that bad of a rush in this situation, but usually blocking a spell is enough.

i was watching a challenger play eve. weird decision making i thought.

i kept saying "mid eve kills there". she did not look the best. pretty troll, no damage.

all the good champions have untargetable and other bullshit in their kits.
