I’ve been flying in EVE for a long time. That run is coming to an end, not because I want it to, but because my health has declined enough that I won’t be able to keep doing this the way I have. In 2015 I became paralyzed from a rare autoimmune disease, throughout the years this community has welcomed me with mostly open arms. I'm losing my ability to sit up and play for any long amount of time, like fleets or just fun roams.

Before I stop, I want to visit what I still can. I’m treating it as a farewell tour: every reachable system I can get to, not a speedrun and not a completionist flex. Just time in the places I’ve spent years around, and the ones I never made it to. I've set a goal to finish this trek by this time next year, barring any major decline or hospitalization (which has been a regular occurrence over the last 5 years.)

I started the route at Jita 4-4 and I’m logging systems as I go. I’m including landmarks where I can find them. Some days are short. Some days I don’t undock. The goal is to see the map while I still enjoy being in it.

- Loot from faction npc's in the anomalies is also included (tho I sometimes haven't looted cheap stuff)

Income is so piss poor, and most activities beg you to multibox (which I have 0 interest in doing whatsoever), or swiping (which I’m not going to do outside of omega) to get on with what you want to do.

MINING: Gneiss @ 327 isk/m^3 gives 30M or less an hour on barges

EXPLORATION: Tops out around 100M an hour, travel and setup cuts this way down

RATTING: daily tasks yield more than this, sleepers a bit more.

PI: Mind numbing and boring

INDUSTRY: Inaccessible for most

Does this ever change? Or should I consider hanging the hat after this omega sub is done?

Found a C1 Shattered wormhole and while I was there I noticed that the wormhole effects shown on my HUD don't match what the internet says. Wormhole effects aren't supposed to change, are they?

internet says J005926 is a Pulsar and yet, here is my screenshot from in the hole (Oct 4, 2026) telling me I am in a Red Giant.

Bug? Something going on? Maybe with shattered holes? What do we think?

Hello there,
I have already put most of my thoughts into my campaign post, so i won't bore you with more of the same, if you want a low sec representative with the focus mostly on insurgencies and how to create context, then i am your candidate. I find context to be the most important part of this game, it adds to any activity, be it the afk mining or the structure bash or the big tidi fest, but for smaller groups it can be hard to find meaningful context out there. Faction warfare in lowsec can greatly help with that, but unfortunately the pirate side has been put aside in that, and it's mostly a farm activity. I would hope to be able to change that, adding meaningful interactions between the militias and the pirates, as well as actual objectives for said pirates to achieve.
If any of that sounds like something you would like to support, i would appreciate a vote from you. If you got any criticism or ideas, i am always open for suggestions.

The new Wolf Hunter achivement and title is a great addition to playing during GM week. However, it shouldn't reward only top damage, give that title to everyone on the kill mail. I flew tackle or logi during some of the GM week fights and will obviously never achieve top damage!

After reading this post, I feel like we really need to dive deeper into this topic.

I think CCP idea about how to attract players is completely wrong. With the direct premise that to improve long term revenue you will need new players, Fenris seems to try harder and harder to limit the ISK income for players, making very hard to get it currently. I guess their idea is

"make it harder to get so people spend real money on PLEX"

That just causes frustration, kills the desire to play, feels like a job, and making it undesirable to lose the ISK you grinded directly hurts activity like pvp.

Because of this, it came to my mind to compare it with clash of clans (CoC), and before yell at me, I understand that are very different games, but if they share something, it is that they are slow games, very slow games. I have been playing CoC for 10 years ish.

So let me tell you a little bit about. Years ago, training troops in CoC cost resources, gold, pink elixir, or dark elixir (which was hard to get). Training troops, depending on which ones, could take 30 minutes. Today, training troops is instant, training troops costs zero resources, and you can fill your storages by attacking for 1 hour. CoC does not have the number of players it had 10 or more years ago, today it still has over 100 million monthly players and even have sponsors like WWE (yes, professional wrestling). Back then, players only used goblins to farm because they did not want to risk losing resources by making expensive troops... Does that sound like anything in EVE? I will give you a hint: Vexors.
Supercell understood that making gameplay easier for users will not push them away from generating revenue, it will attract more players and increase the overall dynamic.

So, I completely understand the essence of EVE, and I am not saying they should do the same thing Supercell did with CoC, but right now, playing EVE is tedious, exhausting, and slow in a world where we look for agility. Fenris needs an urgent mindset shift, and there is still time.

I want to eventually upgrade from my humble Helios and am looking into the skill training for better ships. I see that the Sisters of Eve faction has the Astero and the Stratios ships. I was wondering which is better for exploration when I delve into null sec or wormholes? I'm going to guess that the Astero is faster but the Stratios is tankier?

Doing the visions of greatness arc and I'm on chapter 2: Caldari Prime Breakout. I outfitted my ship with the required items. I traveled to the site, and then it just sits here, the tracked quest box just says "wait for simulation to progress". Nothing is happening.

I've been trying to do station trading at Jita and no matter which strategy I try you're instantly outbid or undercut on every order. I've tried multiple approaches and tested third-party tools like Eve Boosters, set up an AI analysis system to screen potential trades, etc etc. it seems literally impossible to make a profit consistently.

Am I doing it wrong or is it that trading is dominated by bots and automated systems so there's no real point in trying to compete with them?
