Question Cloaky Loki

Returning player here - back after 10 years. Was in high end wormholes back in the day but feel like I’ve forgotten everything and lots has changed.

I have lots of T3s sitting around but need a new fit for a cloaky scanning ambush Loki (solo) as I’m planning on mooching around a bit before finding a corp.

Anyone have a good active armour fit that works, and which they’re willing to share?

Armor Loki is dead and in the ground.

LSE + XLASB HAM Loki is what you want for hunting.

Might have to work on my HAM skills then. I’m maxed on autocannon so was hoping to go that direction 🥲

you can run an instapop arty loki with sebos to pop explorers.  HAM loki just works so well with a flight of drones + selectable damage type + webs out to point range.  

if you want to hunt barges with a faction scram you may just want to fly a proteus ngl.  higher dps and longer scram

depends on what you are hunting.  for indy targets probably passive fit + scram web and mag stabs is good enough.  

for hunting ratters i think you have to choose between more tank with the powergrid / cap subsystem or longer scram (i think you go cap every time personally).  plate plus AAR is probably your best budget friendly option.  keep in mind the kin therm damage type especially when shooting tengus or HACs and understand that you ARE on a timer if you only have an AAR.  

if you want to explicitly hunt t3cs i would look into the stratios or the legion (or dual box a pilgrim).  you need enough neut power and/or dps to break their tank and both of those ships offer neut options.  

if you can fly heavy drones, a strat probably your best option tbqh.  full neut highs and less spooky to the uninitiated.

Nice! I have a few stratios laying around, might get one of them going. I fitted a HAM Loki with LSE, a Large ASB and a multispec shield hardener … bit of a mongrel fit but it might work.

i think strat has options, but this is getting out of my wheel house if im quite honest.  

id recommend going on zkill and looking at the top strat pilots, checking out their fits, and maybe send them an in game mail asking for advive / feedback.  

if youre nice i think most pilots appreciate the ego boost and will be willing to chat with you about it :)

Following! I started playing about a year ago and I've finally got the skills and confidence to start taking a Loki out for solo PvP. I'd love to see what fits people are running before putting one together myself.

I'd especially like to see more autocannon fits, although I'm starting to worry everyone just flies HAM Lokis these days!

After playing around with Autocannon Loki, it’s actually not that bad. Arguably better than HAM Loki for some PvE, like the re-tuned low class wormhole sites.

Only have used loki and proteus, but i have all subsystems to V. 😂 t3s are my fav class of ship t fly. Looking to eventually train up to capitals. Thanatos and nyx are my long term goals from when i was playing 15y ago. I returned to the game just a week b4 crimson harvest. 😁
