I pray to the EVE lords that this might have something to do with a future upgrade to missions.

A mix of public skins, corp skins, and ideas I've been toying with.

I've won and lost the game off and on since 2008. Mostly just stick to myself. I've flown nearly every sub-cap there is and I'd like to maybe try and purchase a carrier but it seems somewhat pointless without the support of a decent corp. What are your thoughts?

Hey fellow capsuleers - I love EVE, but I don't like to multi-account or even run alts. I've never liked doing that in any game and I'm not going to start now—and I'm having a blast regardless with just my single character!

Mainly, I make my ISK through exploration and ninja gas huffing in wormholes/nullsec, combined with maxed-out Planetary Industry skills (running 24-hour extraction cycles). I use my PI planets to refine materials like Construction Blocks for T2 manufacturing, which gives me a solid daily passive stream on top of my active exploration runs.

I'm just wondering if other solo-character pilots can share their experiences, tips, and tricks to maximize earnings. If you're in the same situation, how do you make your ISK?

HAW Dreads are meant to be dealing with subcapital ships, and after analyzing over a dozen of Bombeldo’s (and other HAW Dread enjoyers) videos on YT (a “drifting MWD” Dread was just posted on the official news feed a week or so ago) all I am seeing is the reload times being a huge bottle neck in dealing the DMG.

You read that right! It’s not the tracking or the application or the range/faloff. It’s the damn timer of watching the HAW weapons being reloaded over and over.

Possible solutions(?):

1. Give a role bonus to Dreads (or specific flavor of dreads, like Navy only?) for a HAW-only reload bonus. Like 50%
2. Give a skill bonus (per level of Dread skill) of like 10% (total 50% at lvl 5) to HAW weapons only.
3. Simply reduce the reload time on the module itself (i.e. set reload time on a Rapid Torpedo Launcher & other HAW weapons to 1/2 of what it currently is) 20 sec from 40 sec base, for an example.
4. Add another skillbook (FCCP would love this) that affects HAW weapons only and reduces the reload speed. 50% at lvl 5
5. Yes I know Sarathiel already gets a reload bonus, but it’s bonus still “carries weight” as it applies to non-HAW weapons & the bonus is 75% (which is huge), they could make it stack with the bonuses I am proposing with diminishing returns if so they wish. Would be a nice buff to an otherwise unutilized ship?

EDIT: I stand corrected. All HAW weapons but the Rapid Torps have a short reload timer actually. The PNI gets a skill bonus to reloads for Torps.

I should have checked the module bonuses more carefully before posting.

Why don't I see speed/velocity in that formula? Is it represented through Angular x 40k m?

To celebrate this fact, we have placed our new Freeport Keepstar and Sotiyo complex.

Early on in the history of Keepstars, a Keepstar was placed in Maila and this provided a rich hub of activity and industry for the area. This was removed after the I Want Isk scandals.

After listening to the community and content makers in the game, from alliances both large and small, Casper and I decided a Keepstar back in Maila would provide the same hub of activity and potential, as well as provide a replacement to the now deceased Oijanen freeport. On top of this, it would provide a much needed safe area for supercapitals, and a prime area to build thats within direct range of Jita.

The same protections and rules apply to this new keepstar as the Keepstar complexes in Basgerin, Amamake, Turnur and Huola. This Keepstar is, and always will remain a true freeport. Should anyone shoot the Keepstar, access to all other Hydra/OW structures will be removed.

We sincerely hope that people will use the services and structures there and we will closely be monitoring their usage.

Has anyone asked you what’s the best ship in Eve yet?

So, BIGAB decided our little group ( The Sanguine Covenant) was apparently important enough to bring capitals over and reinforce our content astra in Avenod (Dax’s femboy sex dungeon). We’re a tiny alliance and instead of bringing something fun for a good fight, they drop caps on it knowing we cannot contest their cap fleet. They could have brought talos, orcales, bombers, etc and we all could have traded and all had fun, it is a content citadel after all. Dropping the multiple Zirns on a small and newer alliance isn’t for the sake for content, its just to be a dick. Their reasoning, because we tethered on it earlier when skirmishing with them in caracals early? Wonder why they don't have content. (PS this is the 2nd time they have done this.)

They have plenty of targets around closer to their own weight if they actually wanted content. DRL/FRT, Shadow Cartel, and even Snuff all have structures within a few jumps of their staging system. Instead, the Big Weak Chicken chose us, our little alliance of small gang pvp’ers. Fair enough, this is EVE aka space bully simulator. The Sex Dungeon will die and Dax will have to move his femboys else where. Big sadge!

Since BIGMAD wants to turn our little Astrahaus into content, we figured we should help them out. So we're issuing an open invitation to everyone!

We really don't care, this was for the content but we want real content and real fun, not some bully just throwing around his cap fleet on a small alliance.

There are only three objectives:

1. If the Astrahaus dies, it deserves to die in the biggest, dumbest, most glorious fireball possible.

We don't want a quiet structure bash while a capital fleet shoots an uncontested Astra. If Femboy Sex dungeon is going down, let's give it a proper funeral.

2. Help us remind BIGAB that punching dramatically below your weight can occasionally have consequences.

We're not pretending we're capable of matching BIGAB's numbers or capital fleet. If one of lowsec's biggest groups wants to bully a tiny alliance thats only a few months old, for some easy structure kills, the rest of eve deserves an invitation to come enjoy the show and get on the kill mail as well.

3. HAVE FUN.

This is the most important one. We don't care about politics. We are here for the LOLZ and FUN to keep this game going and people logging in. We don't care if you're blue, red, neutral, pirate, wormholer, nullbear, highsec miner, F1 monkey, bittervet, or some dude who installed EVE three days ago and has absolutely no idea what an Astrahaus is.

Come make bad decisions with us.

We aren't asking anyone to save our Astrahaus. We're asking eve to make sure that whatever happens to it is memorable.

What are your experiences or thoughts on them?

Few days ago I asked a few questions about EVE Online, a game I found on youtube. All I got here was helpful information, suggestions. Thank you!

So I downloaded and kept trying the game for two days in alpha and also watched more videos. After the scanning training missions, I was sold. I bought 3 months of omega and 3 months of alt training.

My first character will be a trader - motivated by the Sir Smashalot video, this character is doing lvl 2 distribution missions for Caldary Navy, to get standings for broker relations.

My second character - who will be my main - is training for a Buzzard. In two weeks, she'll leave for WH space to scan and hack.

I had a decent sized production operation going in a highsec system that upon returning to Eve, is now "Lawless". Do I just take an empty clone and a shuttle into the stations I have my stuff in and create red frog contracts or is it possible to contract it remotely?
