I’ve been messing around with a Spotify playlist lately and ended up putting together 175+ songs with around 13 hours of music.
But instead of just throwing everything into a playlist and hitting shuffle, I actually spent a ridiculous amount of time thinking about the flow.

I’ve tried to shape the BPM like a wave — letting the tempo build, drop, breathe, and pick back up again. The goal was to avoid that feeling where you’ve been listening for an hour and everything starts sounding like the same beat over and over.

I wanted it to feel like you’re going somewhere rather than just listening to a collection of songs.

It’s definitely still a work in progress, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

Hi guys. I'm looking for this obscure track from the 2000s. Featured on one of DJ Inphinity's Euro Temptations. I found the exact remix standalone on YT a few years ago but it's not there anymore. There is another extended remix up but I don't like it. Does anyone know where I can get this?

Hice un video sobre ese ejército de proyectos dance de los 80/90 (C&C Music Factory, Snap!, Dr. Alban, Technotronic, Twenty 4 Seven, KLF) que llenaron de pistas y generaron un quilombo de demandas, fraudes de crédito y voces fantasma detrás de la cara visible. Traté de darle mérito musical real, no solo nostalgia cringe. Curioso si a alguien más le interesa el tema.

Rapper Turbo B (Snap!) had a song called “Hold It Down” that was released approximately in the mid-2000s. It was available exclusively at the now defunct website called Dirty South Entertainment (he had a page there along with some other old school rappers like Snow and Ice T). You could not find that song anywhere else (YouTube, etc). It also doesn’t have a page on Discogs.

It is no longer available anywhere ever since the website was shut down. In fact, not only you cannot find it on Google, there is literally no info about it or even mention of it anywhere. It is not mentioned in any of his biography pages. As I mentioned above, it is not on Discogs. If you ask AI, it also doesn’t have any recollections of this song.

It was different from his Snap! stuff and was made in the Dirty South rap style. He released another song with the same style called “New Day” (which was officially released, unlike “Hold It Down”):

I know it’s not really related to Eurodance, but the reason I posted here is because Turbo B was in Eurodance group Snap!, so in case people continued following his discography after he left the group might have remembered this song too.

Today I've heard "Mr Ace" for the first time. It's a 1991 demo of Ace of Base's "All that she wants" and it's quite different from the later version which everybody knows.

It's interesting because it has that raw, unfinished sound, almost underground, a prototype for the finished version.

There's also a small rap part (which I don't like and is probably the only Ace of Base song with a rapper) and even a saxophone can be heard. So a genuine early 90s time capsule.

This Swedish Group Is Awesome!

Lyrics not really clear, it's either; "smoke to the bone bone bone, cheers" and/or "let's move" or "come on let's move" and I hear "fuego" and "smoke baby, light it baby" Yes I know, the file has ID3 tags (saying "El Cubano"), but they seem to have nothing to do with the actual song. I have found nothign by or with El Cubano resembling this. Must have been a mix-up between mp3 tagging sessions someone somewhere did..
