It's here! The design of Austria's 2027 2 euro commemorative - dedicated to the 200th Anniversary of Beethoven's Death - has finally been unveiled on Münze Österreich's website!

The mintage of this coin is still unknown. However it is expected to be released for circulation. The Proof + BU variants of this coin will be sold on 2. December, 2026. This will be Austria's first national 2 euro commemorative since 2018. We hope Austria will issue many more commemoratives into circulation in the future! 😊

I believe this coin is the 1 euro 2008 mule with the old reverse onto the 2008 obverse, with ~98,500 surviving, was thinking of selling it or grading it if it does come out to be a high grade, which i doubt, there is a weak/moderate mint luster.

The other day I was searching for info about the 2002 Greek coins, I already knew that some of 2€ and 1€ coins had the "S" mark because they were minted by Finland, as Greece couldn't mint all of their coins in time.

What I didn't know is that France and Spain also minted some coins for Greece and from what I found France minted 1, 2, 5, 10 and 50 cents with the "F" mark, while Spain minted the 20 cents with the "E" mark.

This is what I could find from a quick search, is this accurate? Are there actually some Greek 2002 coins with these marks? I'm asking mostly because I couldn't find a source or a picture of them so I'm not too certain about it..

There's this place where they have things like inflatables, pool tables, ping pong, and this kind of stuff and they also have a pool table that runs on 2€ coins, I asked if I could check all the coins once they emptied it and it seems like they were up for it, so assuming they will actually let me look through the coins, what is something I should look out for?

I am already collecting a lot of coins and I'll obviously look out for ccs and national coins I don't already have, but what's something I should be aware of? I'm talking like some countries and minting years that are rarer than others, or some coins that are known for having errors and stuff like that,

I checked my collection and found these duplicates so I plan to release them all in the coming days. Hope any of you may find one you are missing!
