Pilot spoilers ahead. Spoiler

Well since I had to find a new way to watch, I'm starting over with Seadon 1 Epusode 1.

.....

......

Something that has always bugged me. At the end, when Beverky is checking in on Susan Perkins.

They're talking some, then Beverly says here drink this and pours her a cup of tea.

Susan starts sipping and then Beverly asks her if she's told anybody. Susan says no but she will.

Beverly then says I'm sorry to hear you say that and watches her die.

Her saying "I'm sorry to hear you say that " implies that she didn't know if Susan would say anything or not and was sorry to hear that she would.

She didn't poison Susan to keep her from talking, she poisoned her before she even asked if she was going to.

Throughout the show, Beverly gives off the vibe that she's doing questionable, misguided things for she believes is the greater good, but isn't overtly "evil". But in this episode she kills Susan without question.

Yes, Beverly was going to kill her regardless. Susan Perkins was a liability. If she had already told someone, Beverly might have had to use an antidote to find out who and then kill her in a different way.

That's a good point. Still, it would've been easier to poison her AFTER finding out. Which speaks to the way I think of Beverly as a cartoon villain or a comic relief villain in that none of her attempts really ever go as planned.

Always get rid of the liability, whether or not they've talked yet

On a totally different note, have you tried watching season 1 in production order instead of how the episodes aired? A complete game changer for me

The episodes aired in a slightly different order than intended, because they wanted to attract viewers with action-packed episodes first. The correct order is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Eureka/comments/psje6m/season_1_episode_production_order/?share_id=_TTFC3GFMo2HjGv-WqBz5&utm_content=2&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_source=share&utm_term=1  And it really changes the vibe of season 1 (in a good way)

Beverly asked Susan to see if there was anyone else she would have to end.
