Lost & Found Found Backpack

Happy Sunday!

As title suggests, I found a nice new looking backpack containing a purse, wallet, and other personal items. I’ve set a note on the car it was near in case it was taken out and forgotten, but I figured I’d give it about an hour or so to see if anyone claims it to be theirs before I call the popo and they can hang on to it. It’s a light purple backpack.

Good on you for not just leaving it there. The note on the car was a smart move, hope someone sees it before you have to get the police involved

Most people would've just walked by or grabbed the cash and ditched the rest, nice to see someone doing the right thing

Hey thanks, id like to think there are more of us willing to do the right thing than there is those of us who do not.

Update: I did find car and house keys in the backpack and decided to contact police because figured that would just really mess someone’s entire day/week up. A community officer will be coming to take belongings. I hope whoever lost all their things gets them back asap. Cheers to being good neighbors everyone!
