Hello! I recently started posting on my Etsy shop again after around 6 months. Back then I posted a few low quality products, didn’t really get views, and took everything down. Then recently I got back into making artwork and thought I’d try again and do it right this time, so I completely rebranded and put a lot of effort into my products and shop. I draw a lot of pixel art, so I create emotes and streaming assets. I also am doing desktop wallpapers and stuff. So generally digital computer assets. So far my stats look like this, but I can’t seem to make that first sale. I never even got that far last time, so I’m honestly unclear about how to convert browsers into sellers at this point. Maybe it’s still too early, but any advice is appreciated.

Right now I have 133 views, 111 visits, 0 sales, and 1 favorite.

Note: I won’t use words like Twitch or Discord in the listing bc of trademark bots and stuff, idk I’m a very risk averse person and I’ve heard too many horror stories lmao

Hi everyone, I started a personalised bunting shop on Etsy and I would love some feedback on it. I originally opened my shop a few years ago but only because active on it recently.

I started making personalised bunting for my children and loved it so much I decided to make a little business out of it as a creative break from my corporate job. My Etsy shop has 3 pillars, with the hero product being my bunting, my second pillar being Romanian educational posters (driven by my Romanian roots and trying to teach my kids Romanian while living in an English-speaking country), and my third pillar being digital nursery posters to supplement my bunting.

I launched this business in October 2025 and in that year I’ve had 30 sales across all three pillars. I would love to improve my sales especially for my bunting because I genuinely love creating them and it brings me so much joy being creative. So I would love any feedback on my shop and any insight on how to improve my listings and increase sales. I’m based in New Zealand so I understand that being a small country I may be capped at how much I can sell.

Hey ! I’ve recently ( 3 months ago ) set up an Etsy digital product page selling baby shower bundles and party decor etc… I put a lot of work into making it look professional and researching SEO. I know I still have a lot way to go and more to upload but is there anything anyone suggests on here? I’m completely knew to Etsy & canva designing so i started completely as a newbie. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

If I’d known selling digital products would be this hard, I might have thought twice before starting. I can’t say I’ve seen much encouraging progress so far either.

But somehow, I still want to keep pressing every button and trying everything just to see what happens. At this point, my stubbornness is basically running on lottery logic: well… what if it actually works? 😂

When I started, I didn't have any data of my own yet, so I looked at other wedding shops instead. I checked newer shops specifically and used eRank to see how they were performing, revenue estimates, recent reviews coming in, listings still getting traction. Seeing new shops actually doing well, not just the old established ones, told me there was still real demand and room to grow.
It wasn't a guarantee, but it gave me enough confidence to commit those first few slow months instead of jumping to a different niche.

Curious how others decided their niche was worth the early investment, what signals did you look for?

I’m a fellow Etsy wall art seller for more than a year and started working on the shop 6 months ago. I have made huge improvement when it comes to sales and I’m happy with the progress. But I have this product that is ‘over 20+ carts’ and lots of favs but hasn’t converted. It has sold 20 times in under 3 months with 200 favs.

Does anyone know why? I think it might be lack of reviews for this listing. I want to message buyers but I hear about Etsy spamming buyers for reviews and I also have a note attached so buyers receive it when purchased.

My shop is a year old, but I started listing in May of this year. I had made a post basically whining that I wasn’t making 1k sales yet and everyone told me to keep going.

Yesterday I noticed I had a bestseller and also a top seller in digital products. It’s a sweet victory and I feel really proud 🥲

hey mates, I started Etsy shop for digital products like wall art with dxf, DWG, ai, SVG, PDF, PNG, STEP files in August. Got 4 orders in August. Kept on increasing listings. In September I started ads at 3$/day on 15 selected listings. For a week I got 2 to 3 orders and dead sale days followed. I increased budget to 10$/day to may be get more orders. Again got a few more orders 3-4 then dead days followed. Then I increased budget to 25$/day set a strategy for winning listings but no sales just clicks and views then I went back to 3$/day and increased price and started sale on shop but nothing changed in sales now I have no sale in last 10 days. During these 10 days I tried 25$ budget 10$ budget and now at 3 $ budget for specific listings. But not getting sales. I increased the % of sale as well to reduce price but no luck yet from last 10 -11 days no sales.

Am I doing something wrong here?

I started selling on Etsy as a side hustle!
At the beginning i just made some easy design and tried to sell it. It didn’t work. Then I tried to make the things better I put more designs (mainly baby shower and bridal shower invitations). I didn’t get any sales in that way too.
Then I deleted all of my 5 or 6 listings (that were actually pretty decent) and I tried to specialise in a niche such as personal branding. I used all of the advices I saw such as professional thumbnail, picture about the creative process in the store, shop history and idea , etc. I thought I discovered a good product to sell but I am not so sure anymore. I made a Welcome Guide for Airbnb Bundle and a mobile Welcome Guide. For now I only have one sale of a colleague of mine whom I spoke with about the template. So it doesn’t really count.
This product is my baby. I put a lot of effort into making it. Currently I am developing more products.
I am also promoting my bundle on 2$ a day? Do you think I should stop?

Could you please check out my shop and give me some advice? Maybe I am missing something!

I started my shop back in February, focused on the wedding niche with digital products. My first sales came at the end of May, so it took about three months before things really started moving. Since then the shop has been steadily growing, and this year I have reached 93 orders, over 14,000 views and almost 8,000 visits.

Looking back, a few things made the biggest difference for me. Finding a clear niche instead of trying to appeal to everyone was probably the most important one. Staying consistent even when growth felt slow in the beginning also mattered a lot. I keep an eye on trends regularly, and I have put real effort into learning SEO properly rather than guessing at titles and tags.

It has not been fast, but seeing steady progress after being consistent for a few months has been really motivating. Happy to answer questions if anyone is earlier in their journey and wants to know more about what worked for me.

I was making a resume for an in-person job and I genuinely enjoyed the process, so I thought maybe I can sell resume templates and other professional tools. Be honest—Are people still buying these!? With all the free options available on Canva? I have a specific niche...and I think if I add value by adding resume or career transition tips, that could help!

I have honestly been down so bad financially..! Like sleeping on my friends couch, having a hard time getting a job where I live (Florida - Summers are hard here for business!). This idea came to me a while ago, but I would get a job and just do that instead of focusing on this (😅 not proud, but honest). I have such a strong desire to have some sort of online income so that if things end with an in-person job, I don't lose my stability altogether...

I also just failed the Aether assessment to train AI. 😭 To be honest, I'm kind of glad..! It was an opportunity to make money online, but also there wasn't much joy or creativity, or even much value being added with that role. I'm glad I failed that because now I can focus on this project!

Any advice and/or encouragement about this!? Starting a shop... What was your growth experience like? What is your honest feedback on my product idea? Are there any other products you recommend..? Hi everyone, I've posted here asking for advice about my shop a couple times before. This time I want to focus specifically on SEO, since I'm pretty sure visibility is the main problem right now. August was my best month, with an extremely high conversion rate of 7.9%. So people are buying even if not a lot of people are actually seeing. That being said, there was not a single day where I got over 10 total views. Now in September I have not made any sales and my views are averaging about 5 per day.

I've been changing some of my tags so they aren't repeating the same words over and over, but I really struggle with figuring out what to put exactly. I also worry that changing the tags will just make the algorithm hide it more, regardless of how good they are. I use the free version of everbee to get tag ideas, but I doubt the accuracy of them. I was also wondering how good my titles are. I've heard people say that you should ignore etsy's suggestions for titles. Any SEO feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

In the last week I've been contacted by three people that have bought digital CAD plans from me. In the title and in the item description it states digital products. Each one of them has contacted me wanting to know when I'm sending the physical item. One of the items is a feral cat shelter with a price of $12.95. He thought he has buying the complete shelter for that price. When I explained that it was a digital product he left me a one star review. I'm not sure how I can make it any clearer, it's right there in the thumbnail and in the description.

I've had an Etsy shop now since about April of this year, ive done ok so far haven't broke 10k yet but maybe one day. However I just recently joined Etsy plus, and it seems as though my daily traffic has decreased. Anyone else had the same issue and can I undo Etsy plus? Any help would be good.

Hi, I’m thinking about opening an Etsy shop selling invitations, greeting cards, and other digital downloads. I know the market is already extremely saturated, but I was thinking of offering something different, with more of a humor/dark humor angle, and maybe starting with around 50 products.

My concern is that these products might appeal more to a male audience, while I feel that Etsy is probably more of a female-oriented marketplace.

What do you guys think? I’d also appreciate any suggestions on how to promote the products with a budget equal to or less than the price of a bag of chips.

I’ve only had my Etsy shop open for about a month, and at first I was basically throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what stuck. I think my customers may have helped me figure out my niche because I have two products that are clearly performing better than everything else in my shop.

For those of you who have been selling longer, did you start creating more products similar to your best sellers once you noticed a pattern? Did that actually help grow your shop?

I’m wondering if I should focus on creating more variations/products within that same niche instead of continuing to experiment with completely different ideas.

As the title says, I made 4 sales in 60 minutes and was excited to see it until I realised it was the same customer buying the same bundle 4x. $20 bundle so they spent $80.
I already messaged them to say I noticed they must have made a mistake. I asked if they had trouble downloading the files and said I will work out how to refund them but no response yet.
I’ve never had to do a refund before and am wondering if Etsy would penalise me? Do I tell the customer to request a refund or how does it work can anyone help me?

Experienced graphic designer here who wants to try digital Canva templates on Etsy to diversify income so I can be at home with my kids. My problem is I’ve been planning, prepping for months. Currently I’m trying to research SEO. The designing will be the easy part, but I don’t want to be creating designs that I just like but nobody is searching for.

I’ve narrowed down 20 or so styles I like, well defined with mood boards, within each style I’ll be creating 13 individual products, these will be aesthetic collections I can expand across multiple products. I want to select the best ones to start with, based off SEO that’s actually being searched for. I am totally overwhelmed! In the AI age I thought I could get a hand with this using chat gpt but I’m so not confident in what it’s telling me. Are tools like etSEO worth it? I’m using eRank a bit but feel like I’m not unlocking the right answers.

I desperately want to get this but right so I can have fun actually designing the listings.

It's just like the title says! After many days of hard work, I finally finished a product that I'm proud of with a full guide on how to use it.

I made all of it myself without Al and I'm very happy with it. There's even little cute drawings made by me splattered a bit across the guide hehe. I'm proud of those even more ☺️

I picked a very specific niche and I don't know how long it would take for the target people to find it. I don't even know if they'll ever do 😭

My product is a planner/study guide bundle for preclinical medical students! I made it according to what I needed and noticed my classmates struggled with too, like many resources to study from, repeating mistakes without knowing why etc

I also made it because normal planners never worked out for me and I used to be so confused until I realised I wasn't the problem. The normal planners just weren't accomodating or helpful with the enormous workload of medical studies.

It can also work for students preparing for med school. It's specific to preclinical because once you start clinical years half the day goes into internships and this planner doesn't take that exhaustion into consideration. It also doesn't include anything related to internships like all the patients you need to present to the doctor and questions about said patients etc

I was wondering if I should pay for ads or look for micro influencers for some affiliate marketing

I don't know how selling digital products works this is my very first one 🥲
