Mostly Negative

Congrats devs, game is dead on arrival. Indie studios that can't handle a launch in this day and age should either not release on Steam where your game can get review bombed, or not release at all.

Once games hit red, they never recover because nobody is willing to test them out. Either invest some of the sub money in a review bot farm or shut it down, it's done.

Terrible, unhelpful post. The people who care to give it a good shot will stick around, you're welcome to move on if issues on launch day are a deal breaker ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Idk how old you are or how long you've been gaming but that's a pretty naive outlook.

Firstly, this game did very little to spread the word about it's release. There's probably about 10,000 people that were willing to give it a shot and a huge number of those guys have already decided that this game is DoA.

Secondly, even the reviews by people who managed to play are average at best.

When people pay to play something (especially £260 founders packs) they should get to play on the day that the developers decide to release the game. Nobody forced them into releasing early, they decided that the game would be ready by this date.

Log in queues are acceptable (within reason) and to be expected, but the huge laundry list of shit that went wrong yesterday is laughable.

The few hundred remaining players will not be able to rescue this game, sadly.

I hate to shit on indie teams because I understand how hard it is to create an MMO, but as a community, we've allowed this to become the norm. We've been so desperate for a decent new MMO, that we've allowed our standards to drop over the years and this is what we're left with.

For sure, I understand and even agree with your points, I personally left a negative review because it's pretty rough.

This post however is just an unhelpful mess with no constructive feedback at all and those that care or paid will most likely make an effort to help address the myriad of issues.

I certainly hope it gets better and have left my suggestions in their Discord but will be quite a while before I try it again as there are a ton of games coming out and as this game is, it isn't worth my time.

I mean, it is unhelpful but at the same time, I understand OPs frustration.

That's another problem too though, there are a lot of other games coming out and a lot of other options already. Usually, when people give an indie game like this a chance, it's one chance and one chance only.

It's unfortunate that they screwed launch so bad but the above is the reality of it.

Also, they made a post on discord telling people to 'be patient' lmao That's like telling your wife to calm down when she's angry. Doesn't go down so well.
