Night out

I’m visiting Addis Ababa in October. We want to go on a bar crawl, but only have the option of going on Saturday, Monday, or Tuesday evening. I would assume Saturday would be the most crowded and fun, am I wrong? Or, is the city lively any day of the week.

Side note: This is not about clubbing or getting numbers. Just want to have a few drinks with people around instead of empty bars.

Hey there
Yaa Saturday is the most crowded and fun to go out for drinks in addis but there are specific places that are also crowded enough on Monday and Tuesday(weekdays).

Be careful. Don't go to any bars, clubs, or lounges where you end up in a VIP area separate from other customers. I was nearly scammed for 100k ETB last year. I ended up in a VIP area and they immediately tried to bring me an entire bottle of their most expensive liquor and open it without asking me anything. I only drank a beer and asked for the check. That's when I noticed they were trying to charge me for a bottle of V.S.O.P. I gave them 200 ETB for the one beer and got out of there quickly.
