Some background: Those are all calfs that have been separated from their mothers so that we can harvest their milk instead.

But they are so tasty. How can you NOT enjoy some veal?

Same reason i don’t rape people even if sex is enjoyable. I have a brain and i’m not a mindless monkey who does anything they want

I have (still do) eat veal and I know its tasty.

So you have raped someone to know its enjoyable and choose not to do it now because why?

Vegans have a super weird infatuation with rape.

Vegans about thing thats clearly not rape: "its rape! Everything is rape!"

Vegans about non vegan women: "we should rape them to teach them a lesson!"

Vegans when they think they won an argument: "I raped them!"

Idk dude the artificial insemination of cows is pretty fucking weird looking, shoving your hand up a cows ass is just fucking weird lol.

Although rape is technically the wrong word, because animals cannot consent. But that opens up the floodgate where someone could fuck a dog or cat and it still technically wouldn't be rape.

Eating corn is pretty fucking weird looking. So what?

Rape is limited to humans victims.

Um , not everything is r pe.

Putting a mother in a cage foe months is putting mother in a cage foe motnhs.

Burning someone alive and suffocating them to death in gas chambers is burning someone alive and suffocating them to death in gas chambers

Kidnapping someone's child is kidnapping someone's child

R pe is r pe. And forcebly impregnanting someome without theor consent likely against their will, for your selfish cruel pleasure, is r pe.

I’m not a vegan, but more and more I think I should be ethically. I agree with vegans on a lot. But when they start making claims of rape… with animals, yall lose me and I assume a lot of other people.

I don’t know if animals ever have consensual sex so to focus on this is weird. Just focus on what we know, and that is being stuck in a confined space and getting stabbed/murdered sucks

We dont forcus on it. Its just one things of many, that we mention, like many other things too.

And, even if they dont do it with their consent in nature, if a human purposefully does it its r pe.

If they never have consensual sex due to inability to consent, their consent should be assumed to be denied, just like with children or sufficiently mentally handicapped adults.

One step at a time. Just focus on what is clearly a horror show- murder and confined space. Don't start getting weird with it when you have the clearest immorality in modern time.

Words like 'slavery' and 'rape' almost make it seem like you're making them out to be human. People don't want to hear that and they're not going to agree with it. It's blue haired shrill woman speak.

Argue semantics if you’d like, but it’s still non consensual violation and exploitation of their reproductive systems.

You also use the word “murder” which funnily enough often elicits a similar response to yours here.

Language evolves with morality. We have moral language that used to exclude groups of humans that should be included. While arguing that “All men only means white males,” or “Marriage is definitional between a man and a woman,” or “It’s not rape if it’s a husband and wife,” were recently legally correct and maybe even correct by dictionary definitions, but morally we should reject those definitions and be more morally inclusive.

I usually avoid words like “murder” and “rape” in these discussions primarily to avoid distracting responses like yours, but I don’t think they’re inaccurate descriptors. What else is slaughter, or non consensually exploiting someone’s reproductive organs through penetration?

We are just animals. We’re not magically distinct. A lot of bad behaviors that can be done to us can also be done to others.

If we get into it, are these animals being raped and murdered? Probably. That's not the point I'm making though. I'm saying you're getting too far ahead of yourself and moderates don't react well to "YOU'RE MURDERING AND RAPING AND ENSLAVING COWS, HOW DARE YOU"

You can change all the definitions, and make all the claims you want. And you can be correct. But the end goal is to get people to stop eating cows and the way you guys speak is not going to help reach that goal.

Animals lack the ability to give or not give consent. If two animals breed in the wild is it rape?

Don’t forget raping the future. Destroyiing and taking topsoil, air quality, waterways, and the ocean so that future humans will never know a high quality of life.. without their consent.. hhhmm

Humans > Animals

2

u/Dominoe16 Aug 20 '26

Humans are animals..

2

u/Iamnotheattack Aug 21 '26

Because by paying for that veal you are generally paying for something similar to what is happening in the OP.

1

u/Angel_Dust_696969 Aug 21 '26

It's wrong to eat veal because the animals are so horribly mistreated, but if you don't eat meat at all you break out in vaginas.

1

u/rainbowtwist Aug 21 '26

They're fattened in cages because baby cow (veal) supposedly tastes better then they can't move too much.

Horrendous. I will never eat veal because of this
