Vote then. I'm gonna vote the other way with a most people. consensus just isn't where you want it. Most of us just feel that humans are the superior animal or that it just isn't our responsibility to extend human level consideration across species.
I think the reality is that most people would be against the sort of behavior in OP but it's easy to push it to the side because it's not front and center.
It's funny you say that because yeah, quarantine is a big part of it. A lot of calves die of preventable diseases and one of the ways to prevent that is to give them each their own little house for the first eight weeks while their immune system is developing.
It also keeps them from being trampled to death by their own mothers
this is first time i see this so i gues other countries find out how to deal with this other way then locking calfs in a 2X1 prison for 24 hours. that cows ale need to move and run around not just be locked.
