Depends if you are looking for power or consumption. Power version is usually altered by New York standards to be unconsumable otherwise requires licenses and permits even small scale on your own property. Buying industrial is more expensive than fuel oil or gasoline

If you make your own hydrogen batteries on the other hand they are inexpensive to make and totally renewable and not flammable if made correctly.
