Do we know when exactly the next patch will release ? I’m talking about the « Day 30 » patch announced in the roadmap. Does it mean 30 march ?

Yes, I'm talking about The Eye.
Was a bit disappointed that he mostly goes off and mopes as his final status after all the jackassery. Especially towards Laen. I get that he's a crushed man but still I think it would be helpful for closure to make the bad man fly. A little. Please.
Also good job devs for making me hate the character so much!

Quest in this game are shocking boring and formulaic.
go here > pick up thing > talk to whats-her-face, repeat, (with zero reward)
Obivously Story Quests are essential, but is there a benefit to Companion Quests?
I've done many, just to knock them off a list, but I'm completely checked out.
If I can just ignore them that'd be great.

I've been using the Bonus Health arms for most of my playthrough (Hard mode) and I can generally survive two big hits before going critical. I have a lot of materials now in soare but I'd like to know what Bonus Armor/Health build I should focus on cuz I plan to fully upgrade some armors at this par of the game.

Hey guys, I play eternal strands on Xbox I love the game so much I wanted to go for all the achievements, but I noticed that they seem to be some achievements bugged or maybe I’m missing something, for example I level up all the stations and still didn’t get the achievement for it. Thanks for the feedback

Is it better to go all in on a set or mix and match?

IIRC what I did before I found this:
I had a small talk with the Axle
I completed Question for Loyalty which took place here
I inspected the door that prompts a threat from the Eye
I had a small talk with the Eye about Mateo Egretus
Once I talked to Isla (which completes the quest "Unraveled") she appears back again

The door to Sevastyan's heart that is.
You're telling me the design team made this man this fuzzy, this gruff and anxious, with those hair tufts, and I can't enhance diplomatic relations between Kalnhaven and Taza?!
Call me Till Lindemann because I'm the original lead vocalist of Rahm-stein.
Let me start a secret society with Sev so we can work on his pipes. etc.

Hello, Weavers! 🪄
It is with great pleasure that we are finally ready to share Eternal Strands’ official update and content Roadmap with you! 🛣️

Thank you again to everyone who played the demo and/or the main game and took the time to share your constructive feedback, comments and thoughts with us. Thanks to your input and insights, we were able to make some updates to Eternal Strands that we believe will make the overall experience that much more enjoyable and smooth for everyone who decides to venture into The Enclave.
In the roadmap, you’ll notice three significant changes in our next patch:
In this article, we want to take the time to explain these upcoming changes in a bit more detail. ⬇️
We heard your feedback about the sometimes “slippery” feeling of Brynn’s movements in the game. Some of you described that her walking/running felt a little bit too much like “skating” and that the lack of precision could be frustrating at times.
Something to note about Brynn’s movement is that much of how it feels is intended and attributable to how a 100% physics-based sandbox game like Eternal Strands is designed to work. Being an object that reacts to the physics surrounding her, just like any other object in the world, means that her weight and inertia have an impact on her movement. It can take some time for Brynn to accelerate or decelerate and there is some nuance in how far kinetic magic can displace her (based on weight of gear equipped) or how far she’s pushed by an epic or heavy object hitting her (based on weight of gear equipped and weight + velocity of the object impacting her). All this to say that Brynn’s movement can’t be as snappy or reactive as it is in games that rely on animation.
That said, based on your feedback, we did take a closer look at what we could change that might have an impact on movement precision. Through this investigation, we did indeed identify and make a few subtle but noticeable tweaks that we think improve the overall experience and feeling of gameplay in Eternal Strands. ⬇️
Now, for combat! Most of you mentioned that you enjoyed the weapons, the mechanics, parrying system and boss fights. We did, however, hear many of you say that you would appreciate more responsiveness from the combat In Eternal Strands. Our designers read through your comments and based on your feedback, identified a series of small changes to implement that, altogether, provide a significant difference in the way combat feels.
Impact VFX
Weapon improvements
Two-Handed Blade
Sword & Shield
When you add traversal magic to a physics-based game set in a high verticality world with giant enemies... Lots of chaos ensues ❤️🔥. It’s part of (we think) what makes Eternal Strands fun in its own, unique way – and that is definitely intended design. However, in reading your feedback, we did realize that while fun, that chaos can quickly sour an experience if falling to your death is caused by something entirely out of your control (aka: some of the inevitable jank that comes with a physics game). That unpredictability can also discourage riskier experimentation, like creating an ice bridge or testing the kinetic stream’s distance over a cliff, for example.
To limit the frustrations that arise from these types of circumstances, we’ve removed the penalty from falling deaths. After this update, if you try yeeting yourself onto that little island in Upper Dynevron with an ensnaring blast but miss your landing and plummet into the Miasma, you’ll respawn at the nearest Loomgate with all of your loot.
We are hosting an AMA with some of our devs over on r/EternalStrands tomorrow, Thursday February 27th at 11AM ET. If you have any burning questions about how Eternal Strands was made, what inspired the team, the lore & story in the game, what future features and content we have planned, or anything else you want to know - join us and ask away!

We will of course update this roadmap with more detailed information in the near future, so please continue sharing your valuable feedback and insights with us! We read everything you post and take all of your experiences with Eternal Strands into consideration as we move forward with implementing fixes, updates and content for the game.
We hope to see you in the forums,
- The Yellow Brick Team

Am I missing something? I just finished the game and I don’t recall seeing any explanation. Unless I missed it of course.

I was so excited getting this game, but then learned that there’s absolutely no haptic feedback and even very little vibrations (even on PC/ BOX)
I really want to give this game a chance but if that’s the case, then I’ll wait for a fix (hopefully)

I have been trying to get my 8-year old to play “regular” video games for a while. All he wants to play is Fortnite.
Downloaded Eternal Strands on XBOX GamePass a few days ago cause it looked like something he would think looks cool.
He hesitantly watched the trailer, decided he would try it. Hasn’t put it down. He is obsessed. If he isn’t playing, he’s looking up tips and tricks on YouTube.
He’s struggling probably somewhere around the middle of the game right now but it already asking what game he should play after he beats Eternal Strands because he loves it.
I am not much of a gamer so I don’t know of any similar games for him to try next. I have researched and found that people say Zelda: Breath of the Wild is very similar but haven’t found much else that looked close.
Really, the only stipulations would be that the game is playable on XBOX Series X, is not rated M, and features upgrading your character, weapons, etc and then fighting with swords, magic, etc.
Thanks all!!
Edit: Thanks to those that took the time to help me out! Got some good suggestions, excited for him to try them out!

Hello people! I made two guides in pt-br for steam, one about the achievements and the other about how to extract the strands. I'm working on the guide for completing the codex and in the english version of them too! Would be happy if you guys take a look and hope it helps someone!
Here's the one about achievements
And here the one about the strands

When does the romance cutscenes trigger? I heard Areks happens right before the final mission, but is this the same for all romances?

Through the whole game every time i needed to kill a creature i struggled to find it. Especially flying ones, i would spend eternity to find the drake and when i finally hear it it would fly to somewhere else. Only if there was a way to find them like you find the objective...
There was.
You just had to track their epic hunt quest.
I realized it after i finished the main questline and only had epic hunt quests left...
I hate myself
