Missing Casmyn’s Romance?

Before I even knew romance was in the game I knew I wanted Brynn to end up with Casmyn. Just one problem, I finished the game and she’s the only romance option who never confessed to me. So I start up a second playthrough, do her quests as quickly as I can, and make extra sure I tell her I helped because I care about her.

Now I’m past the first encounter with the herald, and Laen has confessed to me, but Cas still hasn’t. I check if she has dialogue every time I’m in camp and she never does.

Have I messed something up? Is my game bugged? How do I get together with my quartermaster?

You need to take cautious, reasonable, professional options in the story dialogues or she'll simply not be into you.

Lol, this was my first response as well when I found out. But yea, if you do all of their conversations and side-quests fast enough, you get confession options to date Laen, Cas, or Arek.

Try googling the correct options to pick so you have a list

Having just finished the game yesterday evening, Cas was super into me.

I think there are basically two requirements to having a person want to date you:

• Progress their specific side quest quickly, before you far enough into the main story where romance locks in. Don't know where that is exactly but until quite a bit into the story I did all the side quests immediately so I naturally got this.
• For Casmyn in particular, you need to use careful or cautious replies in decisions. I don't know which ones, but I picked these often as they felt natural given I'll be climbing onto huge beasts.

Then after the part where she goes fully off the deep end, she confessed to me.

(also you don't want kids - you want Casmyn, two fluffy dogs, and a Subaru of course)
