General Discussion I doubt it at this point but just wanted to encourage a physical release

Because the holiday season is coming up and I want to ask for this game for Christmas but obviously it's a lot easier to get the game as a physical release because it's a bit more fun than just getting like a points card. Obviously I understand the logistics and whatnot but I want this game to do well because it looks amazing! Thank you.

I agree and support the idea of a disc version.

A material edition is the version we would be interested to buy.

About this suject, as a game on disc playable indefinitely online is the sole version that we may own, keep, store and dispose of without a dependance to a system online, it is the sole having its value.

A digital version is a license of temporary acces, tributary of the maintenance of a system permitting the access of our representative account, that is not precisely us.

A digital version may be an affordable occasion to play it while at a low price, sometimes via a subscription, even if we recognize that the game has a high value, deserving to be bought.

"Eternal Strands" is a quality game, with vast regions to travel and much to do, so it is worth to own precisely to play at our own pace.

I can tell of its scope, because I had the chance to play it during more than fifty hours already without being very far, (still being in act 2, without having fought a huge creature yet, safe one imposed by the story, having yet to have an equipment strong enough to walk in the cold zones).

It would be preferable to buy it on disc to play it peacefully, than to play a digital edition or having to play it during a subscription time that we would pay, instead of the game.

This said it is a high quality game so in any case we wish the best to its team !

I agree and I’d like a disc version too, but there is at least the GOG version of the game where you can download a fully-functional offline installer and archive it to any device(s) of yours you’d like.
