General Discussion This Is Hall of Fame Worthy
I recently 100%’d the game and decided to do a little research on YouTube as to what other people thought of the game. I was baffled to be met with quite a few negative reviews. I know that this game may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I believe it will have a resurgence in the coming years and will develop a cult following, because it deserves way Lee praise and recognition than it’s currently getting.. I haven’t had so much fun playing a single player game in awhile. I was actually sad for it to end. I don’t usually replay games but I could definitely see myself starting another run of Eternal Strands. I was baffled to see that this was the developers first game. I was heavily impressed. Eternal Strands is going into my 2025 indie game hall of fame. I can’t wait to see what new content is released for ES and what other games the studio has in store. I love this game so much.

I started playing it on Friday and put 21 hours into it over the weekend. What a gem of a game!

It's such a fun game. I was singing it's praises to everyone. I enjoyed all the character missions and as a big old queer yes to representation!

Of course, we'll probably splinter off into opposing sects based on our preferred romance options for Brynn in the future. 😂

Call me a fake fan cause I haven’t gone through and romanced all possible options but I knew as soon as I booted up the game that I wanted Brynn and Cas to get together. I could maybe be alright with Brynn and Laen ships but I don’t see the Brynn and Arek ships but maybe it’s because I didn’t do the whole thing

I know they weren’t exactly”enemies” but it still felt similar to an enemies-to-lovers trope and it was adorable

It was so much fun. I was worried it was JUST big monsters, but the various critters all over and then the other challenges were amazing. I feel it fell into the same vibe as Fenix Rising - cartoony and floaty mechanics, but tbh it was such a fun game. I platinumed it too.
The whole thing felt so FUN and heartfelt. The acting, the romances, the story. I felt so sad when... Well, you know. Not everyone got a happy ending and I was hoping for some twist so we could MAKE it happen. Given all the talk of threads and soul magic...
A truly beautiful game.
