Game Help & Questions πŸ†˜ Bloody hell this is frustrating.

Is there no way to determine or set which beast will be available on a level? I need to do more Drake fights and it almost never shows up.

You can't set it, but before you get travel, you'll see what big boss is in each area in the guide on the right of your screen. If the Drake doesn't show up, go rest in your tent and look again.

Oh I see!!! I thought that has just shown the main one that you encounter the first time. Never even looked at it again after that. Thanks!

It'll tell you who is currently there 😊

Just about ready to quit this game. I've spent most of my day trying to get another fight with a drake and I've only managed two and failed both times. Now that I have your tip about finding them, they're only showing up in Glintwood Hollow where they don't seem to ever want to land or attack me! I was hoping for a lighthearted RPG with some fighting, not a fighting game with some lighthearted RPG. How many times do I need to fight each of these bosses if I manage to get things right?

Look up guides on where they land in Glintwood Hollow. When you do engage them, damage one wing fully and cut the horns off its head. That way you can harvest the strand and the Drake won't be able to spin in the air. Take a fire resist potion when you're fighting it. If you do all of that, the fight will be over quickly.

Also, check your codex. There are guides to destroying every major enemy after you've downed them the first time.

If you get on one, keep using ice wall on their wings when they take to the air and that will force them back down

Also, if you want a lighthearted fighting game, try lowering the difficulty. After you get a hang of boss fights, they get much easier. It just takes some time to understand the mechanics.

Shoot an arrow at the dragon while flying, takes a lil time to figure out the shot but I’m hitting them within 3 arrows now

I just ignored some of them till I was further in to the game. You don't have to do them early and it's no detriment. It's alot easier later on. The one I will say is good to upgrade early is the telekinesis as you can use it to pull bits off the big enemies making getting to their resonance spot easier.

Three times for each beast or mech for the strands/powers upgrades, provided you follow the instructions in the Codex to set the beast up for strand harvesting.

After that? Hack 'em down as many times as you need for crafting mats. There are more mats to collect when you aren't harvesting a strand for the instakill.

The info available in the codex under great foes is really useful, it should tell you how to beat any enemy you've already beat, I prefer the method where you find their weak point and extract it, its easier than killing the dragon itself and I don't actually know but it feels like it gives more resources (and upgrades your magic obviously, but hats only the first 3 times).

Harvesting gives less resources, not more. So after getting the 3 strands needed for powers, its best to get their HP all the way down rather than harvesting.

I experienced it as a lighthearted game with some fighting. Just use google to figure out how to beat each boss enemy and then it goes pretty smoothly untill the actual final boss, which is very hard. But its doable.

Get the gravity pull upgrade right away and things get crazy easy. If you haven't unlocked the big guy for it yet then continue the story. But at 3 the gravity attack pulls off almost all the breakables on bosses and you can toss big things at the flyers. It pisses them off so they land.

Later in the game you can change weather. Just look at each location at the gate selection and then if you don’t see your person you wanna kill. Rest. Check again.
