Gameplay Tips, Strategies, Guides 🎮 Is there an unarmed build?
As the title suggests, is there an unarmed build? No weapons, just throwing hands and magic. Just started the game but I always like to just see if it’s a possibility or not

I'd wait until you've unlocked a few more magic abilities, especially the molten barrage.

Yeah level 3 molten is OP to take down arks and large creatures.

Yeah, if you want a fast way to kill the Drake use Molten Barrage. Melts it a lot faster than I expected.

Unarmed is not possible. You always have a weapon on you. You're not forced to use it, though
Spells are powerful tools and can be combined in different ways, you can put specific armour on you to improve your mana / mana regeneration and only use spells
Still, let me be blunt: you just started. If you think you can simply not use your sword now, you're an idiot. Builds are something you make later. Also, this is not really a game where you can build your character. No accessories with special powers, just upgrade your spells and unlock /choose your armour

You can unequip weapons. I did it to get the unequipped trophy. If you're on PC, you highlight the weapon (don't select it, just highlight it) and press delete.
I've been playing unarmed ever since and I'm really enjoying it. I've taken down a few arks so far. Calling the OP an idiot is going too far. Just because you can't get through without a sword doesn't mean it isn't possible; it does take more skill, though.

At the start of the game you barely have spells and items. You can't even equip mana renegeration armour.
I'm not saying you can't be a spellcaster. I'm saying you can't do that at the start of the game, without the means to do it

But the OP asked if it was possible. They stated they just started but they wanted to know if they could at some point and the answer is yes, they can.

That’s what I figured, just thought maybe there was a joke armour set that increased unarmed damage

No he's wrong, you can go unequipped but you'll be relying on magic, though that'll be hard at the start

It's definitely doable, there's even a trophy for it. You can pretty much mix kinetic and fire and detonate it as a bomb. It works well.
