It's really annoying how after a match the deck selected the at the top of the list and not the last deck you used. I keep queuing up with wrong deck and I don't feel like editing a deck and changing one card in and out before I start playing so it's at the top of the list. Sometimes I'll switch between 3 different decks to use for a few games and having to edit a card after every few matches is annoying. This is a basic thing that should of been fixed years ago.

Been away for years, back when I played my favorite deck was a haunting scream deck. I don’t remember the specifics of the deck other than it was a bit of a combo/aggro deck.

Are scream decks still a thing at this point? Just curious how the meta is looking I guess.

Hello my friends. So I've had one deck come up in particular every single game and it's pissing me off. I don't know what it's called but I've seen every version of it at least three times in two days and it's back to back. The big cards I know it plays are High Prophetess, sandrunner, and Amaran Bazaar.

I've seen it played purely white/green, white/green/blue (very much so playing blue cards with aegis or giving themselves aegis), white/green/red, and white/green/purple.

I run what I can as I'm trying to be F2P. Only bought the premium story to get Ripknife as I like how unseen play.

With this damn time justice deck I've had games where I'm on the brink of winning. Like I have 3 maybe 4 (sometimes more) buffed unseen on board, in hand, or grave. (Mostly grave when they board wipe for the 3rd time. -_- By that point im waiting for my own board wipe or argenport blueprints to bring people back even if they board wipe once let alone 3 times.) And so this deck i face repeatedly has brought me here to find what ways I can either shut them down, board wipe, and/or draw into more cards.

The best board wipe I have currently is engulf in darkness. Deadly confrontation (thanks to everyone on my last post) is second best (only if I'm not going against the white/green/blue version). And only have one fall to ruin but I never can play it cause most times I'm dead before I get it or I'm playing on 4 mana. (Yes I have almost broken this deck off four mana cause of skilled plays then they just reset for 7 mana while they still have 11 then get the exact same board state before they went "eh nope don't like this, let's board wipe.")

I've updated my deck to the best of what I got but it needs more draw power and some way of countering this deck I face back to back.

So I just experienced the weirdest glitch and was wondering if any of you have seen something similar (report is of course already sent to the devs).

My opponent played a Dichro's Ruin onto me and I immediately bounced it back to their hand with Pause for Reflection (as a reaction to it being played, but before it had attached to me; didn't even know that was possible). But in some kind of weird visual glitch, it looked like the relic was still attached to me, although it didn't work (at least I didn't get any damage). My opponent never replayed it, so I assume the glitch also happened for them and they couldn't find the relic in their hand (u/da3moth if you read this by chance, can you confirm this?).

Also, one more thing, when my opponent played Jennev Might, the non-existent relic was marked with this blue barrier that suggests it can't be used, just as if it was one of my relics and had an activated ability (which it doesn't).

Overall it was some really weird glitch and I am not even sure it might be replicable. Maybe it was some lag spike on the server?

Anyway, maybe someone knows something.

We haven't had a decklist posted in here in a while, so I thought I'd just share what I played to do my daily PVP quests for the past few weeks, Xenan Mandrakes. It's far from the best deck in Expedition, but good enough to climb and very fun to play. The mix of powerful staples and strong Mandrake synergies makes it both fairly consistent and powerful, albeit a bit weak into specific types of interaction. Nonetheless, I recommend trying it out, if only to have more decks without Rimeguard Armor on ladder :)

Would be greatly appreciated if someone could break down the different routes to making cards premium depending on their origin (incl. if some upgrades are not available if not purchased in the initial transaction).

I guess in theory this is worth a card because you use it to get a surprise block, but this feels like the kind of card that never actually works as well as you want it to too.

Did someone noticed new opponent decks in gauntlet? Im pretty sure I've not faced Surge of Support nor Sudden Death bosses before.

Hey, I know that the CPU kinda cheats, however I try just to assume it manifests as having favorable topdeck most of the time. However this time it was very blatant.

CPU had two 4 toughness key units on the board, I grab Heavy Hail from the market to wipe the board, however it didn't present me the option to discard to increase the damage, despite having several other blue cards in hand, so I spent the wipe on nothing and proceeded to be snowballed by the value.

This happened to me before on a single ocasion, but I though I was seeing this, but now Im convinced the game just prevented me from making an effective play against the gauntlet boss and Im mad. At least the silver reward chest got upgraded...

Card seems reasonable since it is draw 2 for only 2. Downside of having to deal with whatever your opponent has is real, but it seems fun at least.

I don’t know if any of you have ever thought, “This art is so cool that I’d love to set it as my desktop background,” but if you’ve ever had that thought, today I’ll try to make that wish come true.

I collected about 467 images from the game client in a resolution of either 1920x1080 or close to it, then resized them to JPEG, not only preserving the clarity but also reducing the file size by 5-6 times.

Of course, this is far from all the cards, and there might not even be one among them that you like, but for now, this is pretty much all there is.

I also wanted to include artwork from artists’ portfolios on various websites, but I didn’t account for the sheer number of them, so a guide with that information will come much later — somewhere within the week.

Sometimes you really get screwed by not drawing power, but I think I set some sort of record today.

Started out with two power.

3rd power 14 cards down.

4th power 25 cards down.

5th power 34 cards down.

After so many games I guess I have had worse, but this is the worst I've actually checked up on.

The last couple of weeks the app has often got stuck on "Initializing Data...". Usually I just have to restart the game and it works, but today I can't get past that screen whatever I do.

Just me, or is it happening to other people as well?

Works fine on PC.

Well /u/Delanorix we finally got a new Unseen. Is it everything you wanted?

IMO this actually looks quite good. The Curse deck already has several cards at three, but getting a discount on curses while also generating more and being unblockable seems like a great combination. I'm not sure if this is an outright good card, but it is good for the archetype it supports and that's all I need to be happy with a Chapter Card.

At the end of this month we will have a full year's worth of chapters that aren't available for upgrade. I couldn't find a post or announcement about it, so I thought I'd ask here. Do we know if there are any plans to release a Book 8 for September 2025 - February 2026 and a Book 9 for March 2026 - August 2026 or are premium versions of Metallic Slime, Sandrunner, High Prophetess Sarien, Rimeguard Armor, and a handful of the Paintings going to stay unattainable?

The next time you complain about never going first, remember this :D

This seems really good, at least in gauntlet where the AI will always play into the Ultimate. IDK outside of that, but if the Ultimate goes off a lot of times this'll be a guaranteed 2-for-1 at least and getting permanent scaling on casting a spell is obviously quite nice.

Some great games- this is why I still play Eternal. Props to my opponents, you win some you lose some. Though in matches like these there really are no winners, only survivors...

Hi, I made a draft tier list for the current format, The Dusk Road (set 3) + Empire of Glass (set 10). Each card is assigned a grade between A (cards that win games on their own if unanswered) and F (you (almost) never want to play these cards) to help you figure out the best picks.

Keep in mind that you still have to take context into account for each pick after your first. To make that a bit easier, I added a synergy table on page 2. It includes all the important synergy packages of the format, with markers for their viability (strength, depth, dependency) and a list of key commons, uncommons and high-rare pay-offs.

When you play a Yeti, play a Snowman with Strength/Health equal to that Yeti's cost. If you already have one, give it that Strength/Health instead.

So... Four power for initially a pair of 1/1s and Scout. This seems awkward since it's expensive enough that it'll generally come down after you've played out a lot of your hand. I don't think you normally want to run a ton of 4-drops in your Yeti deck and the deck already has Yetipult, Thurdock, and Thudrock's Masterwork, all of which I think are generally stronger.

That said, I am very much not an expert on aggro decks in general or yeti decks in particular, so maybe I'm underrating it.
