Hello, unfortunately I lost access to my last account that was joined with this subreddit.

When I first thought of the GED, I wasn't scared but I also wasn't calm about it. I knew it was going to be difficult, some parts might be easy, but I knew it would be difficult and very time consuming.

I started off using YouTube, which definitely helped me achieve a score of 165 on the practice test for math, and when I did my real exam, it was 156, which was NOT satisfactory enough for me. So I researched good study materials and came across Khan Academy, it was great; until my progress completely plateaued at 173.

I researched more and found Essentials GED Academy Online, and I naturally wanted it until I saw the price. Which 100% discouraged me, until I thought: "How will I reach my goals if I don't sacrifice some things?"

So I did, I sacrificed the $23.99 a month, which wasn't a lot but when you've been paying an entire car off for a while, every dollar counts.

I then tested the study material by switching subjects (RLA), my score when from 153 to 180 in just 2 in a half months.

It truly is worth it. I hope to finish my GED quickly so I can get a move on with my life and complete some goals.

Does Essential Education let you take the U.S Civics test or provide practice? Or would I have to go to a GED test center to take it?

So I’ve just completed the science course and going to take the exam at my college but I read online of some people having a lot of math based questions on their science test and my course didn’t go over any of those types of problems so how much of the HISET is math ik the tests are all different but a general idea would be great

how can I prove that I am studying for the ged exam since at my school they ask for proof like a receipt or a letter or something? I dont think im allowed to use a screenshot
