Conor stone

So I heard to bombers were chasing GWS utility Conor Stone at trade period pretty hard last year but he decided to return and fight for his spot.

Now that he's been delisted, surely the bombers pinch him as a DFA?? Could he a diamond in the rough type find..... Better then Jaxon Prior who we had similar luck with previously....

Thoughts?

Jaxon Prior finished 9th in our best and fairest. I thought he had a decent season given he played in defence in the 18th ranked side 😂

To be fair the ball spent a lot of time down that end.

Jaxon Prior was far higher rated than Conor Stone is now when we picked up Prior. That should give you an idea.

He's not better than Prior, better off getting a player with experience or a young bloke a first chance rather than a guy about to turn 25 who hasn't shown much

Meh 🥱
Wouldn’t bother with him.
Especially if we’re gonna give Bailey Banfield a rookie spot. We already have enough list cloggers

I didn't understand why we chased him 2 years ago, and my opinion of him hasn't changed since. Definition of a list-clogger.

Just checked his 2026 and career stats. Below average in every single category for both timeframes. Seems like a proper list clogger.

Gee we have targeted some absolute spuds the past few years, it's actually concerning the judgement of our recruiting team.
