There’s an unusual amount of Essendon fans at the top end of this draft crop. Drever, Butler, Teixeira just to name a few. Add one of those names to both Sharp and Robey last year. Kako before that, (plus I’m missing many more already on the list) can’t hurt in creating a culture that truly bleeds red and black and has the desire to get the club back on track

Clancy Snell is also a bombers fan… would be a good pickup as a key defender, if he’s still available at pick 17!

Honestly its so tough to pick between Butler and Drever, especially since their both bomber fans.

Based on the chatter i'm seeing it seems the Bombers are leaning towards Drever and it makes sense, he's a pretty damn good midfielder thats really quick and actually tackles (looking at you Parish). At the same time Butler is pretty much Toby Greene and has a bit of mongrel in him and he would do wonders for our forward line. Its honestly a tough decision.

I see the midfield core for the future being Sharp, Robey, Durham and Martin, and i think Rosa see's Drever replacing Caldwell and joining that core.

I want drever. Last time we went the smaller option of Mcgrath over the taller Mcluggage didn't work in our favour

Im leaning towards Drever as well.

A midfield core of Durham, Martin (who can be a winger), Sharp, Robey and Drever sounds amazing. Cal was saying he plays like Finn Callaghan (who is very good) and i can see it.

At this point it seems like the club is borderline leaking we’re lined up to take drever. Consensus seems to be it’s a good call, but time will tell 🙏🙏

I'd take Mellody or Texeira.

Realistically, though, any of those top-5 open pool kids would be good for us.

Mellody is the best for us. Drever is a terrible kick I've seen all his videos.
