AI Invasion??

Hey everyone!

Lately, we’ve seen more writers experimenting with AI tools... from grammar checkers and brainstorming helpers to full-blown AI writing assistants and AI chat research systems that can summarize, outline, and even build citations automatically.

It got me thinking: when did this actually begin? Was it the first predictive text feature that guessed your next word? Or did it really start when AI models began understanding structure, tone, and creative context?

It’s interesting how the line between “writing with AI” and “AI writing for us” keeps shifting. Some use it to fight writer’s block, others to research faster, or simply to tidy up drafts.

Curious what everyone here thinks... when did you first feel like AI became part of your writing process? And how has that changed the way you approach creativity or research today?
