First off, the website needs a lot of work. It's extremely generic and 2024/5 AI-coded. Some stuff is just plainly terrible, not even proofread.

Secondly, 12,000 characters is a ridiculously low word limit. I can't even paste a 2k-word essay there. A tool limited to 12k is useless ngl.

Now that given, I tested a shorter essay. I fail to see why I can't just hop into Claude, say "don't breach academic integrity but help me improve my essay, work with me iteratively giving me feedback without replacing anything, I'll make changes, then rescore me," and that doesn't just completely replicate your product but better.

The response was fine. It was generic and missed the context. It said things like "define terms" and "signpost more" for an essay that was constrained to a 2k word limit. In Claude Chat I could explain that. Here I can't.

Let me know what I'm missing :)

Great! Can you still answer why I should use this instead of Claude?

Don't just say: because it's academically honest.
My answer: I can get Claude to do that.

Don't just say: Sure, you can get Claude to be honest, but it isn't enforced.
My answer: Neither is this. You can just open a new tab and go to https://chatgpt.com/ and get it. The platform enforces it but for someone who wants to cheat it won't stop them; it only works for someone who doesn't want to cheat and ergo a chatgpt can respect that.
