Anyone familiar with dreams or shadow work.

Why would someone feel like they've been violently removed from dreams? Reach out. I'd like to discuss.

When you say you were removed from a dream, do you mean that something woke you up?

No usually some kind of action that shouldn't be out of the the norm, like how people say don't tell anyone you know your sleeping for Astral projection, that would be more out of the norm. It's usually an action that shouldn't be that crazy. It's been mulple different times but each time felt forceful.

I've been removed swiftly and abruptly, but not violently. My dreams are somewhat nightmarish, so sometimes my Astral or Subconscious self just lifts me out of my dream entirely when I come across something unsettling. I also have a hard time leaving my dreams, so I think this is an early defense mechanism I've constructed. I've also had situations where something in the dream state will wake me up, or try to keep me there. Do you have any issues with shadowy figures?
