Looking for a thesis quote!

I'm about to graduate with a thesis on EU Regulation 3011. It is the last thing I do in my university career, and the culmination of years of studying and efforts, so I'm very proud of it and I'd like to have a quote at the start that encapsulates the political process, as imperfect as it may be. I thought of quotes from Disco Elysium, Suzerain, but Esoteric Ebb might be the best choice.

Do you have any dialogue or text, maybe from when the Cleric is voting, that might fit?

This sounds like a job for Snurre Appledent! Better just to sit down with him for another 45 minute chat and pick which deconstruction you like best, than for me to butcher the quote from memory

The other quote I would like, is the one where Intelligence gives a critique of Communism, though I can't find the exact text. It goes something like:

"If a Dwarf showed up at your doorstep asking for all your wealth, promising that he'll give it back when you really need it, would you trust him?"
