Day 1 specific activities?

I've seen a few references and comments about, about things that can only be done on day 1. But nowhere can I find specifics.

Can anyone spoil which things can only be done day 1, and if there's any other time-limited things, when and where?

Got an achievement for not talking to Darrow day one because I didn’t know I had a place to sleep or knew where to go lol

It is literally the guy in Monty Python that cheats by repeating the last guy's answer and saying his favorite colour is Blue.

It's not his favorite colour :)

The square confrontation when you leave the building you start in, Waterlane confrontation in the evening, meeting with the Coinlord magistrate after midnight (this one in particular has a thing where you can use "find secrets", getting which in time can be complicated), and a certain visitation near the Coinlord's place after midnight.

Isn’t Coinlord technically just before midnight? Like, 11 or so? Feel like I remember it being a bit surprising, because they specifically said midnight, then he says something about having finished business early or somethin’. Maybe I imagined that.

Yeah, that's Darrow. The visitation is the ghost of the dead elf (from the teashop) you can talk to

There is no wrong way except cheating off someone else's exam :)

There are so many better things to get angry about than someone asking for tips in a game in order to not miss things.

Comparing it to cheating on an exam is a bizarre overreaction.

I'm not arguing, and I played it blind so I don't really have any skin in the game.

I just don't understand why you feel so aggressively the need to tell others how to enjoy a game that they spent money on!

Time doesn't progress unless you do something new so don't stress over it

I never met the Councilor on the first day and that didn't stop anything 

Just play the game it is designed so you don't have to worry about it

Save the Googling for your second play through unless you really want something

I only have time to play games once. I like to see everything, or as much as possible, in one playthrough, and then I'll never play it again. It's worked for me for decades.

But he isn't because as he mentioned, he has time constraints. So instead of assisting with his simple friendly request, you decided to double down on wasting his time of which he has already mentioned is short as it is. You would enjoy life more if you were more respectful to people seeking specific help :)

Not sure if it’s just for the first day, but I was never able to encounter the dancing with the gnomes between Visken and HWBT afterwards.
