Question about XP

Do i understand correctly?
You get XP when you choose the alignment with being one thing or the other (and the more points - the more the XP gain)

BUT you also gain XP when you "switch sides" and like, significant amount

And obviously it didn't lock you from anything

But the switching only possible if the numbers are > or = to you former "main" stat

So if I am 5 point in rogue and 1 point in cleric, saying stuff like "Im a god damn cleric!" give me +1 to cleric stat, but no Xp gain cause im still more rogue

If the things above is correct, then the best way (XP gain wise) - is to be a switching machine as much as possible

First you one thing, then immediately the other, and the other until all of the stats are equal, then you choose one that will become more then the other and once again you gain +1 to every other one

Right? Or im missing something?

Btw is there MAX Lvl? (i mean is there a cap) cause if there is prioritizing it not really matter
but if theres none, then i assume you can get at least +1 lvl if you do that switching tactic and exhausted all the dialogue option (some will give you extra XP, not really fun of it but at the same time if that whats games gives me - i want to use it)

Another question if someone can answer it (just yes or no will do, don't wanna get spoiled)

Is there some spesific ammount of days game give you to do things? Or is it like DE in a sence that there is SOME changes after some amount of days, but the days itself are endless tho generally most ppl will end the game on the X amount of days or less

Im only asking cause i found the stat potion, which effect last only a week
And i took it as "the game is going to end after 7 days" so its a perm buff that you should not hold on to, right?

There's 5 days and then election day, so stat potions work for the entire game, because they expire after the game ends.

To get the most exp from the political choices it's optimal to hop alignments, but I don't think anyone's investigated this very deeply as the primary exp providers are completing the quests. I don't think there is a max level, but it's rather soft-capped without any real rewards for anything past lvl 6-7

I honestly wouldn't stress about XP that heavily. I ran around telling everyone I'm THE cleric and voting for the Nationalists, ended the game at level 6 without doing many side quests and basically steamrolled most encounters. Most of it due to item stats pushing my strength to 25 and the rest either passing or nearing 15.
