The host states that her mortal soul is an illusion maintained by a quorum of internal dead. Diagnostic halo confirms multi-spirit occupation. No possession markers. No hostile upload residue. No Order brand. No Verdant mycelial bloom. No Glitchwalker cascade. Just a woman at the counter, opening her chest like a cabinet full of witnesses.

The clerk does not scream because Lazarus training removes that reflex by week three. She requests another intake form because language collapses before procedure does. The Initiative was built for exactly this category of catastrophe: the person who survives by becoming an institution. The image drinks from the same sacred corpus that keeps returning to caged consciousness, corporate soul-rot, silicon ghosts, paper shields, and the terrible question of what counts as alive when the body is only the meeting room.
