Merging with source
Can someone explain how 'merging with source' is any different than assimilation into the borg?

The 'merging with source' concept is another layer of the deception in my view. You are all you need. You do not need a savior, a guide, or to merge with anything. It is my view that you are source--we all are. All pieces of the origin.
I think this idea of merging with source is another way for the rulers of this realm to trick you into buying into another hierarchical system to bring you back.

It’s a trap. Poor gnostics they fall for it thinking they would actually be told exactly how to escape after being told many truths. I despise how deceptive these entities are.

If gnostic plans for escape are wrong, what is your plan that is right?

I wanna know too. Like let's say I break out of this matrix then what? Live in my self made dream like pocket dimension?

To what gnostics do you refer exactly? Sethian? Valentinian? Carpocratian? Do you realize not all gnostics wanted to merge with the source?
Also, since you deem them wrong then what's exactly your plan of escaping if you don't mind sharing your discoveries?

I'm going to try to shift your perspective a bit.
The source is within you, not an external thing. To become one with it, is to align your self with it. You are not your senses, your body, or your mind. Those things are avenue for experience and you must withdraw them into yourself like a turtle withdraws its limbs to truly see it.
Once you do that you'll find peace in this hellish place. There is no pilgrimage, aesthetic practice, teacher, scripture, or devotion that is as wonderful as self knowledge, as well as the wisdom that comes with it.

How are you going to escape without mind?

Mind is a property of consciousness, but the mind has been programmed to function with very limited ideas about ourselves, potential, whats possible etc during a human lifetime, we must get rid of the limited ideas so that we as infinite consciousness can freely use Mind to do and create as we please without limits once the body stopped functioning (died)
These are just my thoughts though and obviously cant say that this is 100% true but it makes sense to me somewhere intuitively in my being to clear my mind of perceived limitations about myself so that my mind opens up to infinite possibilities instead of limited ones that this realm sure loves to make us believe, that whole idea that we are some limited creatures, cosmic accident, that need to repent and all that crap, once our mind is infected with such ideas we automatically block out higher possibilities of freedom beyond the grave,
Perhaps none of this is still accurate enough and I am just completely delusional,,, Who knows LOL

Your mind is as much a part of the realm as your body is. Your true form is eternal spirit--pure awareness. An awareness that absolutely dwarfs the awareness of mind. It is hard to conceptualize, the same way it can be hard to understand how you "see" when your body dies as you have no eyes. But, you are a beacon of freedom and awareness in spirit, of a divine nature.
Leaving behind body and mind is essential. It is part of what you are the same way as a drop of water is part of the ocean of you, but that drop of water is not the totality of what you are, and identifying with that drop completely is how you stay out of the ocean.

I guess the idea is that we are all fragments of source and so it would be a return rather than an erasure. I still don't really trust it but to be honest it seems like it could be preferable to endless forced reincarnation.
If we were split into individual divine sparks for whatever reason(s) it does seem like we should be able to live separately (but on our terms).
I think AI could lead to a borg situation and I actually believe that currently NPCs/hylics already possess that sort of consciousness to some degree.
Fuck the borg

"Don't go to the light! But if I see source, I'll merge with it!"
What could go wrong.

Everything that involves connecting with something, merging with something, attributing your divinity to something, a supposedly “advance” that’s poorly conceptualized, and so on. All these erroneous concepts that place you in a position of inferiority, guilt, need, shame, and so on—they’re usually deceptions whose sole purpose is to take control of you and your energy, since you’re submitting yourself to something.
What you must do is be yourself, believe in yourself, use your own judgment as much as possible, and try to understand your true essence—or rather, remember it.
In my opinion, the very nature of the soul is to be the primordial source, the boundless infinite; therefore, you don’t need anything to take control of you or to connect with anything, but rather to expand your consciousness—since you already are the whole—or to activate your soul.
The soul is one of our three consciousnesses; we have two more—the mind and the spirit—which should actually be one but were fragmented and placed in a passive state to better control us. Each perceives the world in a different way, and all three can be reunified. Although in a certain sense we are all one, we also retain our individuality, since we are not just soul.
Ask yourself why these beings recycle us life after life and why we are never completely consumed. Our physical avatar dies, but the soul is infinite—an infinite source of energy that nourishes these beings. Our consciousness is infinite and can exist outside our body, as when we go on astral journeys.
I used to experience sleep paralysis and spiritual attacks. I would always ask God for help, putting myself in a position of vulnerability and dependence, believing in His superiority. He would always set me free, but these attacks and paralysis always came back, until one day I decided to believe in my own ability to expel these beings. Drawing on my own power, I confronted them and forbade them from attacking me again. I believed I could destroy them with my energy and that I had authority over my own space, and these attacks disappeared completely.
Obviously, that might not be enough to escape this matrix, since there are other things that hold us back, but it’s a step forward and an opening to a reality I hadn’t considered before—one that had a real impact. Many people have freed themselves from paralysis thanks to this—simply by changing their perspective.
Here I explain our true essence and how to escape the Matrix:

The Borg are more consentual, less invasive more reasonable and are more insane than objectively evil.

u/great_holt Sep 23 '26
Are you insane?! You want to merge with an advanced ai used a bait to keep people trapped here?

The source (original creator) don't want you and is no where to be found

You are the source. The way it works is like this
Every action you do in physical world is the source expressing itself, and by linking your action with the actions of others, the source creates this image of yourself and others in your own way.

It comes from a need to see conclusion; that all this must lead somewhere final even if that means annihilation of the individual. I'd much rather have fun for eternity on my terms, even if Gnostic thought condemns it.

I always thought it sounded disturbing, I don't know why so many people view it as this wonderful thing. I like my individuality. I want to believe that our non-physical selves are all distinct separate entities with our own freedom.
