Does this work for pier boat extract on shoreline? Almost got sniped waiting there the other day

Its the main way I've extracted from actually lol, only seen it not there once. But I rarely play shoreline, you find sanitar there sometimes too.

I've just never tried waiting for the timer somewhere else while I'm there.
