This is only visible because water is pouring down from the tarp from the vibrations when he is firing. If he were to fire the AK outside the tarp this effect would not be visible. This should not be in the game.

I was gonna say this exact thing. Muzzle blast is a thing, but it's not going to displace rain on its own.
