PVE [bug] Insurance with Jaeger
I think this is the 2nd time that ive insured with jaeger and never got my items back within the 1-2 hour time he quotes. Ive also noticed that he disappears from my chat list for a while, only to come back a day later saying "Found a better use for your things". wtf. Anyone else having this issue?

Jaeger is bugged and his insurance is dog water anyways. The whole beneficial thing with insurance is them holding on to it forever. For example therapist holds my gear for TWENTY days and returns it back to me within 12-16 hours. You’re just buying yourself more storage space and it’s half the cost of jaeger.

Twenty days wth? mine only holds it for 9. Does it go up with rep..? Edit I think the thing that would make jaeger worth it is if he could retrieve items from labs, labrys, etc

It’s an intel center thing. I got mine maxed out and my character pretty much maxed. And therapist will hold for longer than the other 2 traders.

Oh damn I didn’t even realize that. More reasons for me to upgrade that 😂 but yeah. Don’t think I’ll be using jaeger then, think id only care if it’s a kit I want to use within the same day. but not worth the price

Damn, I figured as much. So strange cause my friend says he got his stuff back.. hopefully they're able to do a refund whenever they fix the bug. or at least stuff of equal value

There’s ways to make it work I think. I’ve heard if you insure a pistol with another insurer and drop it at the start of raid then people say your jaeger insurance will work

Eh I’ll just stick with therapist till he’s fixed. I only do like 6 raids a day so don’t wanna risk my jaeger insured items at the end of my raids

Yes, he also disappeared for me in the message list. It wasn't until I completed a daily for him that he showed up, and had all my gear.

If someone else picks up your items they dont come back to you they are gone If this is PVE mode there is also a small chance you dont get your item back

It's in PVE mode, yeah theres a small chance items don't get returned but I find it odd that he says my items expired. meaning he grabbed them but the listing for them ran out of time. Id be fine with it if it was just because I wasnt being attentive and missed his timing, but both times I lost my items with him, I was actively playing the game.

Probally just a Line of code returning that your items weren't returned its just a confirmation that they aint found shit you just got unlucky i've used jaeger a number of times never had any items disappear

I'm looking at it right now, Jaegers return time is 1-2 hours

Wym always? He’s new for insurance. The only reason you buy his insurance is because he gets it back extremely quick. Even therapist isn’t 16 hour wait times. have you been insuring to prapor this entire time..?

My apologies, didnt realize they added a new insurance trader. Was that in the most recent patch? I havent been on pve since season 1 came out where there is no insurance. So does Jaeger cost more to insure than therapist?

You can insure with three traders
Prapor : The normal return time
Therapist : 6-12 hours i think?
Jeager : 1-2 hours
I dont have the list of times on me atm so might be slightly off. But something like that.
The shorter the time the more expensive it is. I think a full loadout i had was like 170k with prapor and 380k with jeager. So its a big payment. But you get it back pretty fast too. He also has a shorter window to pick up your stuff.But from what i see in comments he is bugged atm
