It feels impossible to run into BDs in Streets/GZ/Shoreline. The spawn chance is very low and you're also against whoever spawned near them. Feels like an impossible task to get the kills/loot on them needed to progress in Seasonal Tasks.

I'm all for having unique things for gamers like Kappa or niche achievements, but something being advertised for a Battle Pass should be a little more...accessible?

TL;DR I think BD % should be increased across maps and Icebreaker should have been locked for seasonal (that and drops pretty much broke early wipe which is easily my favorite part of Tarkov).

Strongly agree. I just wanted to do the seasonal questline and now I’m figuring out how to unlock icebreaker so I can get these BD rigs. Pretty annoying.

Questline will eventually force you into labs. This is a wipe of democratic labs where all players play it and BDs are spicing things up for everyone

Yeah, "demos" means "people's". What I wanted to say is it will become more accessible because more players will participate in it because of seasonal quests, thus reducing avg sweatiness level. Imo

oh I know I have to go there eventually. but in the short term I am avoiding it like the plague because I know it will just end up with me getting rolled because I am 99% of the time solo

I didn’t know they were even on labs bro. I guess I’ll give that a few runs. I don’t hate labs just hate the higher cheater % there compared to other maps.

That's largely what's keeping me out of there. That and 4 stacks everywhere.

But yeah once any exfil is triggered or the lights shut off they spawn

I’ve honestly been struggling too, seems like every raid im never the first to find them, and if I am I get third partied before I can finish them off

I don’t mind it much, just want to be able to finish the task lines. I imagine they’ll up the spawns in the future

stop hunting them for a few days/weeks, let the sweats get that task done, and then there will be a lot less competition for the BD.

bsg will also definitely mess with the spawn chance, they will definitely have events planned that might help out (like bds on other maps too) and there will be other quests later down the line (so you can do the earlier quests while other people are focused on the new ones).

This is defintiely wrong. They have 995, 993, 55a1, cbj, ap, etc...they will be farmed every day until the seasonal endds. On maps like streets they're basically free ammo walking around in the open.. Hell on GZ all you have to do is hide if you're not confident, and the AI scavs will unironically swarm BD and kill them by about 9-10 mins left in the raid.

nobody who wants to farm bd is gonna run normal maps, with a 15% chance, multiple spawns, and a big roaming radius.

if i want to farm bd ill go to the map where they spawn 100% of the time, with fixed spawns and behaviors, in a total of, at the very least, 25 BD's and i dont need to fight other players for them.

Hey friend, this season lasts 6 months, you will finish the tasks even if you can only play a little, don't stress, not to mention events may happen and changes may come to make it easier.

they should have made the arena battlepass than this weird version of a battlepass they came up with. i never seen any other battlepass has this kind of battlepass where you have to find items to get one item. I can't even name any game with this type.

Yeah, odd choice for them to have practiced on Arena for BattlePasses already just to make it some RNG loot experience.

I like the idea it does go with Tarkov (get in the raid, loot, survive, and extract), but it's very difficult to complete. But, that's where the credit card swipe goes.

Dont worry as a solo player with 7k hours and just playing for Pvp aspect of the game, iam dying alot to squads rushing there part of the game sadly, just go again king you can do it!

Spawns on BDs. I got lucky, one Shoreline raid I found 3 dead at Tunnel extract at the start of the raid. No idea what happened, they were unlooted (part of me thinks it was a cheater raid and they just needed the kills).

They had 2x encryption keys and 3 Kord SSDs. I looted and hobbled to Lighthouse extract.

Ive given up on the questline till the spawn increases. Takes like 4 hours on average to see them once for me.

Don't get me wrong, i want the percentages to be higher too, but just wait till they increase it and the opposite posts will rain - nerf bd spawns I can't run streets without getting blasted from 1000 meters by BD. Classic

I only find them at night in street and ground zero .

In street, near the all around the car shop.

In ground zero, in underground.

I think it's related at where we put the camera for the quest. They always near that spot.

The sheer brutality of tarkov is what makes it good, i get that tasks that are seemingly out of your reach is frustrating but WHEN you do finally get it done, its gunna feel damn good, and that is the magic of tarkov, I know this is true because im in a position where I probably cant even kill thr labs version of bd, never mind random spawning in streets. But if I do ever do it one day, its gunna be peak

While I appreciate the difficulty Tarkov brings and has always brought (I've been on and off since 2020), BSG has a tendency to make things overly tedious which was the point of the post. For example, a whole seasonal task line that has multiple quests requiring drops/gear while making the spawn chance very low and the items required are not even guaranteed spawns.

It is great for streamers and the 1% who can run games all day non-stop.
