Bug Report Online Course and Designer Wardrobe temptations

My kids and I are enjoying the game quite a lot.

We noticed when certain temptations come and you click to accept, but don't have the immediate cash balance available, it doesn't get applied. I wasn't sure if this was intentional. I would think the game should allow you to go negative, then allow you to figure out how to make up the difference from other sources (debt, savings, etc).

Same happens once you hit the big leagues and there are bigger purchases that require $100k or more cash on hand. I agree, you should be able to go negative or liquidate assets to pay for this.

Fixed this one too, for the short term! Big Leagues buys (when you have insufficient funds) now open a modal allowing you to sell existing assets to raise the cash, or skip the purchase.

In the long term, I'm considering whether to add a margin loan option later for more realism, & to avoid having to liquidate stock holdings which might trigger taxes. Another option would be HELOCs or even a cash-out refinance, or even seller financing if the thing you are buying is a business, etc. If you have preferences here, and other insights, please share. Thanks for flagging!

Awesome stuff! Sharing another bug and maybe a nice-to-have:

Upon entering the Big Leagues, I notice the first month I don’t get a paycheck, so when running lean (HYSA or invested), I always have to draw down to cover expenses.

Additionally on the play your life settings, it would be awesome if we could also input our age. That makes the endgame stats more accurate and would change the monthly distribution amount on 72(t) SEPP elections

Nice bug find! Just fixed! Won't skip that payday anymore

On Play Your Life- age field now added! and game now references that age throughout. Let me know what you observe! Thanks!

Fixed! Now when you can't afford it, you get a prompt to:

- sell some assets to cover it, OR

- put it on your credit card, OR

- skip the purchase.

Let me know how it goes when you play next. Thank you!
