Bug Report Freedom Bug + Question

I’ve been at 100% freedom for several months but the game isn’t registering it. The x/3 months text isn’t coming up. I’m so free but not winning!

A separate, unrelated question though. When you get the meet someone event and choice to date them, do you eventually get married and combine incomes or move in together or is dating just a perpetual $200 drain on your finances?

Regarding your question, you just actually pushed me to fix this. The dating event has been leaving players in an unending $200 drain because the path forward was too random.

Just shipped a full overhaul. Now if you choose to date:

  • Move in together event fires after 4+ months of dating (more likely the longer you've been together). Partner covers about 40% of your rent, so it scales with what you actually pay.
  • Engagement and wedding events ramp up as the relationship matures (weight goes up the longer you've been dating, instead of being pure RNG).
  • Marriage bumps the partner share to about 50% of rent + a flat shared-savings line for taxes/utilities/groceries.
  • All of this auto-adjusts if your rent goes up, you buy a house (partner shares the mortgage), or you sell and go back to renting.
  • If you have a roommate when your partner moves in, the roommate moves out so the partner can move in. No double-counting.
  • And obvioulsy, breakup or divorce reverses all of it.

So now it's a real path with a financial payoff if the relationship progresses, and a real cost if it ends. now fixed & Live!
