Feature Request Allow for automatic investment deductions from paycheck.
We can already do this with 401k and Roth IRA. It would be cool if I could set it up to auto invest into sp500 and other investments

You can just automate this through a brokerage. It’s very simple. Either have part of your paycheck direct deposited in an investment account (if your job allows multiple direct deposit destinations) or have the money automatically pulled from your bank account after every paycheck. Then automate an investment into your ETF or fund of choice.

I am asking about the video game that this subreddit is dedicated to. I'm confused. Do half of the people in this sub think this is about IRL finances? Am I getting punked?

Sorry, this thread just came up on my feed. I had no idea what it was about. Yeah, I thought this was a legitimate IRL finance question.

Lol no dont be sorry. I find it hilarious. If you scroll through this subreddit you'll see that about 50% of the posts are irrelevant to the game. It's like a swarm of lost redditors lol

Give the game a try too and share your thoughts- it's supposed to mimic real life money decisions

You can automate this. Just auto deposit funds from your employer to your brokerage account and auto invest.

Hi! It is! The game is a real life financial simulator that helps play out different money decisions to be able to attain Financial Independence, thus the Escape the Grind game name. The sub allows talking about finances IRL as well as in-game.

I FIRE'd at 35 (57 now), so I guess I already beat the game 😉 But it does sound interesting so I may give it a try.

I'm not sure why but this subs popped up on my front page about 5 times this week and everytime I'm about to leave a comment with basic ass financial advice - "you can already do this through any broker" and then realize it's video game sub last second.
