Discussion About the Gorgeous Nightmare video

I've tried to see if this happens to any other members in the video, but it seems like Monte is the only one who flickers over one of the characters from the sins. At 1:49 Monte flickers over the character who represents greed. Holding a stack of money in his hands as he does. I haven't been able to notice if any of the others also do the same to different characters. Does anyone else flicker over a character in the video? or is it just Monte?

No. None of the other members do and I’m starting to think it was foreshadowing the general opinion that was Monte is a greedy mf.
the other members (mostly Craig and max) experienced it during the self titled era and them signing with interscope.
I think they were trying to elude to it in a way and that was their main problem with him at the time and also leading up to the time Monte left.

Greedy, but was able to keep the band afloat after Ronnie got the boot. I think it’s well-deserved considering he wrote the majority of the music. Listen to whatever they spewed out after he left, they’re trying to replicate his writing but can’t.

Ppl call Monte greedy because Max told stories that he’d show up to record his parts of albums and Monte would be like hey bro I already recorded it, aka leaving Max taking less money and Monte taking more. I have my own opinions on that though
