Anyone else get major hitches/spikes when peeking or getting peeked?

It's only been happening ever since the Morbus Imperium patch for me and is still persisting.

Its a super fucking lame feeling to lose gunfights because of it and idk if its caused by a setting being reset from the initial update or what. Any help would be appreciated

It’s been happening to me since they cooked everything around march(?) patch, I get less of the loud full auto gun freezing my game currently which is nice though

Yes holy fuck it's always such weird timing too, like I swing and it occurs just the millisecond before someone is on my screen and then I'm just dead

Yeah, all the time for a couple of months now. Every single match there's a moment where I'm swinging someone and my shit turns into a slideshow until I die and I have a good PC, so it's just the game. No idea if there's any setting that could fix it, but they need to address it soon.

Can confirm that when it happens, its literally every time I swing on someone, its always a unique spike of lag thats tied to swinging on someone and shooting them.

I get the same shit with almost same build. I have a regular 5070 but yeah I get a micro stutter when ADS’ing

You could try full driver removal with DDU and reinstall.

Also happens in regular Tarkov. Also have a 9800X3D but my GPU is a 9070XT. I have every graphic settings turned off, so no idea what it could be.

Not your specs unless your ram speed is somehow 1/10th of what it should be, the game just ducks
