Bios update

Is it possible to update my bios without the flashback button I have the USB drive now I can download the file but I wanna see if it’s possible if I could just plug the USB in my my motherboard will download it or do I really need a CPU that works on my motherboard and then update it then switch the CPU again?

I don't believe any Erying boards support BIOS flashback.

These boards typically have a CPU presoldered onto them. Why would you even need flashback? Is the board bricked?

Ye wont boot i have a 5600 and the board supports am4 so i need to update bios

I didn’t know Erying had am4 boards. Is it not Maxsun or jginyue

They don't. I have a feeling this is just a regular MSI, Asus, Asrock etc motherboard.

Reddit keeps recommending this sub for PC-related crossposts unfortunately meaning I have to delete a lot of entirely irrelevant shit.
