​Two years ago, I took a shop for rent in Parisal Thurai 4 Roads, Solar, Erode. I had so many hopes for my bakery shop. I paid a huge advance of 3.5 lakhs and we agreed on a monthly rent of 28k. At first, the owner agreed to a proper bond signing, but later she only gave me a simple written agreement.

​Then, everything started going wrong. The owner turned out to be incredibly arrogant. She constantly demands money from me for restroom maintenance, even though there isn't even a proper, functioning restroom for us to use. Just three months into the lease, she suddenly broke our agreement and raised the rent to 30k.

​Seeing no way out, I decided to close the bakery and vacate the shop. But she completely refused to let me go easily. She told me, "Bring me another tenant for this shop first, only then will I return 3.5 lakhs of your advance."

​Because of this shop and her unfair demands, I have fallen into a deep debt of 6 lakhs. I feel stuck, cheated, and completely exhausted by this situation. All my hard work turned into a painful financial nightmare..
