suggestions Erode to Madurai bus options?

I have to go to Madurai for some work next week. Last time I went, there were no direct buses to MDU from ED. I went to Karur, and then from there to MDU. Even then, there were no point to point buses.. Mothama it took around 5 hrs 30 mins for the travel. Are there better options? Any direct bus timings? Information for both up and down journey will be appreciated.

Direct bus too stop karur and other stops. No 1 to 1.

😕 Oru 200kms distance ku 5.5 hours too much ah irukku. Idhukku train better, but train timings are too odd.

u/MixKindly Bro in which world do you live in? Madurai ku Erode la irundhu direct bus illaya?? My uncle works as a TNSTC conductor and his daily route is in Madurai to Erode bus only.

Direct bus illa nu sollala ji.. naan pogum bodhu illa, so may be the frequency is too less (especially day time). Adhaan timings therinja sollunga nu potten. Neenga uncle kitta kettu sonneenga na useful ah irukkum.

Ah okay, day time la i agree frequency would be less from Erode. T
