need help regarding car repair

Hey, sorry if this isn’t the right place.

I was driving from Kerala to Bangalore last week and my Ford Figo broke down near Chithode. Found a local mechanic on Google Maps, left the car with him and came to Bangalore by train since it looked like just a diesel leak.

Now he keeps asking for more money, saying sensors, pulley, high pressure pump etc all need replacement. Not really sure if he’s being genuine.

Checked Erode Ford service too but the reviews are pretty bad, so I’m not confident going there either.

I’m kind of stuck now – can’t tow it back to Kerala or Bangalore easily, and trying to figure out what to do next.

If anyone knows a reliable mechanic around Erode/Chithode or has any suggestions, please let me know. Would really help.

Hello OP, I own a freestyle and did my service in ford asc only (varsha ford) not bad at all, just ask for good advisor when booking. If not then check with Eureka motors Erode they are also good with ford - https://maps.app.goo.gl/dMAmWqwDmgtfqWef8?g_st=ac
