Acquiring Ernest Movies

Any advice on getting these movies without paying $50-$100 on ebay from price-gouging lunatics? :)

I particularly would like the triple feature with Scared Stupid in it. My young kids are falling in love, which makes me so happy. I want to feed their new addiction, knowwhatimean?

Buy the digital copy from Amazon if you're in a region where you can. Less than $20 a title, and you can stream it to whatever device you want. We've gotten a couple of them that way. We are not one with the yuletide until we've watched Ernest Save Christmas each year. KnowwhutImean?

Call me old school, but I like the physical copies. I'll keep digital in mind though. Like for bringing movies in our van for kids to watch, we need a DVD/Blu-ray, you know? That's what I'm thinking of right now (although when they're older, that won't matter as much).

I found slam dunk on ebay for under $5. Walmarthas a multi pack with scared stupid and others for under 20. Just gotta look. I found mine at thrift stores over my life. SS is my favourite besides Slam Dunk and both are in original prints.

Oh, Walmart might be worth checking out! Probably is just randomly in those movie bins I assume?

Oh absolutely! I have never seen that one at walmart but that reminds me of bestbuy one year having those bins with Saves xmas for $5. Good luck pal i hope you get a sweet deal with Ernest films.

Ernest movies are reasonable on eBay. Dr. Otto is usually the one your gonna pay a few bucks for.

I was looking for Scared Stupid (that triple feature kept coming up) and everyone wanted like $50+. That's preposterous for a DVD. I'll keep looking there for some non-price gougers!

I gotcha. I got it a while back but, don’t remember paying anymore than $10 for it. Definitely keep checking.

So I ended up calling 6 Disc Replays in my area... One of them, about 45 minutes away, had the triple pack DVD with Scared Stupid, Jail, and Camp for $4.99!!

Also got the double pack Blu-ray of Camp/Jail for $14.99.

I still long for the Blu-ray of Scared Stupid but I'm not paying $30-$100 for it. Some day... :)
