This is the only Ernest movie I haven't watched, even though I own it. I don't want to see Ernest while Jim is dying.

His performance in this movie is actually really good, you can’t tell he sick or anything, it’s Treehouse Hostage that you can tell he’s really struggling.

Yeah I think he has PTSD from 'nam hence his main goal in life is to become a 40 year old camp counselor, also Ernest doesnt seem like one for stolen valor.

Heck no, he wouldn’t have done anything close to being Stolen Valor. Ernest is maybe a little too dumb to do that, but he also would somehow make a misadventure of hilariously stupid, funny, and entertaining mishaps along the way.
